I still think our players were tired and hungover that game. They haven't been AS dominant statistically but you have to remember that we are blowing teams out. Backups are sometimes playing part of 3rd and all of fourth quarters.

if our defense brings the energy and intensity - dak will be light work. If they don't, and we let him get in rhythm - he will make might work of our DBs.

The interior OL is where the 49ers should be able to create a whole lot of confusion. Unless they're just allowed to hold all game long like KC was.

FWIW Tyler Smith is credited with 5 sacks surrendered on the year and 9 total penalties (4 false starts and 5 holding calls).

All five Superbowl winning teams beat the opposing team *and* the refs. That's the 49er winning Superbowl standard. The two that lost, couldn't beat the refs. Walsh always preached that your team has to beat the opposing team *and* the refs to win Superbowls. Harbaugh found that out and I think Kyle understands it now.

Right! Lol I'd love to hear a player, with a straight face, say that after 18 games played (they all have nagging injuries at this point in the season) that another team having two extra days of rest and planning - makes no difference at all. Lol I understand why they're saying, but it's comical.

then why do players hate Thursday nights games so much?? lol you can't say there is no issue with short weeks and then complain about games during the season on short weeks being "unsafe"?
