What about the guy that's replacing him at left guard? he any good? It seems like a bad time to have to shuffle your o-line around, but it sounds like they have been doing it all season. Definitely a spot to try an exploit though.

2 mill in cash.. yeah right

Well then what is it? Is he really betting on the spread? Maybe that does make sense then because he would make out like a banshee if Dallas loses by, say 3. He wins his bet, lots of people buy mattresses and they are not free
"Team from Dallas" is all they get.

So the Cowboys had a walkthrough practice on Wednesday and only 2 real practices after that. We'll see how ready they are

They'll be ready. It's postseason football. I just don't see A'Shawn Robinson walking thru that door.
OK, now I have really gone down the rabbit hole for this bet... by betting on the moneyline, this guy is actually setting himself to break even or win big no matter what:

Scenario 1: Sells 1,000 mattresses at $2,000ea ($2,000,000 gross, lets say $700,000 profit to make numbers easy) Cowboys win game straight up, he gets paid out $2,700,000 winnings from his bet and pays everyone back, $2,000,000 has $700,000 leftover which were equal to his profits before. Net $0

Scenario 2: Sells 1,000 mattresses at $2,000 ea ($2,000,000 gross, lets say $700,000 profit to make numbers easy) Cowboys lose game, he gets $2,000,000 in sales but lost $2,000,000 from his bet, but still made a $700,000 profit on sales.

Scenario 3: Sells 1,000 mattresses at $2,000 ea ($2,000,000 gross, lets say $700,000 profit to make numbers easy), Cowboys lose by 3, he gets paid out $2,700,000 winnings from his bet ($700,000 in winnings) and sold $2,000,000 in mattresses profiting $700,000 meaning he makes $1,400,000 net.

Interesting... he's basically getting free advertising to move a bunch of mattresses with no risk or high reward.

It's a win-win. When he loses the bet, the dallas fans will sh** the bed and need to buy new mattresses.

Yeah it's a cool strat imo I gotta respect him.

Moves mattresses, gets a ton of publicity. Furthermore, in the local market he's a hero cuz he champions the local teams. Some companies have to pay to come up with an ad campaign this dude just places a bet and it's done lol.

Friday is usually kind of a walk-thru also before a Sunday game, or at least a light practice.

Sales are down nation wide due to inflation.. i doubt people want to buy mattresses right now when it not a need

plus the 3rd option is actually number 2 as you said betting on the ML

Limping into the divisional round like us last year. I feel terrible for them. Get ready for a 35%+ pressure rate, b***hes!

I thought Tyron Smith was their Pro Bowl LT??
