still not getting it huh

You just admitted flat out "Purdy(the QB) is actually WINNING US GAMES".

You're just being a huge hypocrite. I get it completely. Unlike you I just don't flip flop and change stances based off complete bias.

It's ok that he's winning us games. This is common language. Bosa's winning us games as well.

In true W/L match records, there can only be 1 winner and 1 loser in each event.

We can say "W/L record as a starter" although it doesn't sound as sexy as the fairy tale stuff,...and it's 100% factual at that point and just fine.

Why not be satisfied with this medium and kill the back and forth?

There are 21 other guys from the winning team who start the game, so you can stop trying to qualify the W/L stat with "as a starter." We get it.

Nah people used the stat because even you admit it's a QB stat. The only reason you say it's not is because it completely diminished the years you all wrongfully spent diminishing J*. Let's be honest here.

Big Jimmy fan here but he did lose us the SB and also the NFCC.

Yes. I used the phrase, if Purdy wins. You got me. Dude, don't you know what a turn of phrase is? But it certainly isn't a stat I use when evaluating player performance and not a stat I track or record.

More like a Freudian slip. Purdy wins games but others don't. Proof of a double standard.

Are you going to sit here and assume that I have never used the same phrase when we won with Jimmy ? Refering to Jimmy winning a game? Otherwise your assumption of me having a double standard is standing on a very weak foundation. I explained myself thoroughly and don't feel the need to any further.

By the way, I have given Jimmy quite a bit of praise, especially the way he was performing this season. I had him top 5 in QB efficiency. I posted my list in the Jimmy thread a couple of months back. Go back and read before making uninformed assumptions about me.

Are you really this obtuse to the game of football or you so far off that you have to continue this lol. in no way did I say Purdy deserves a individual W/L record stat

Also, heres something to look out for when watching football, not all QBs are equal. Some contribute way more in a game than others. Purdy is a a great example of this.

Why bring it up in the Brock thread?
The only reason to bring it up in the Brock thread was to talk about how it relates to Brock. People got triggered by associating win loss stats to Brock.

Jimmy LIVES in your dome lol. He was talking about Dan Marino.

This isn't about Jimmy. I made that point to show that stats collectively tell the story, not by themselves individually. Jimmy being the 6th highest rated passer of all-time does not mean he's the 6th best or even close. Nor does wins. But W/L is still a QB stat no matter how you slice it. Per NFL.com too.

not some fun facts and learn about football, you should print that out and grab some crayons lol

It's the official NFL record book. I don't see QBR though. Weird.

Funny that you think all of those stats would fit on their main stats page, and also funny that you think only the stats on the main page count as stats.

YOU are the one who said and continues to say that only stats on NFL.com are "real stats." So are you going to stop talking about QBR now or retract your statement? Third option is continue your hypocritical argument.
