I'm not. Everything we accomplish from this point is just gravy on top of an already successful season. Nobody can seriously expect much out of a third string QB, so we just need to appreciate that we've even made it this far and hope for the best.

This. Definitely this. Anything else is a plus but just so grateful for this season, it's been amazing!

Any season that doesn't end in a Super Bowl win is a disappointment imo.

not interested in moral victories after all the bitter defeats from the last 12 years

Yea I don't get some fans. Same s**t every year. We haven't won a ring in 30 years, but coming up short….that's ok, bc moral victories are priceless.

give me a break. This is Shanahan's best roster, loaded from top to bottom. Anything less than a ring is utter FAILURE !

Couldn't have said it better myself, Brock has shown in his 6 games with this loaded roster he's good enough to win the SB. Anything less it'll be a major f**king disappointment, f**k that moral victory oh shucks bs

The same fans said the same thing last year. I remember these forums and some media heads for the Niners. "Exceeded expectations" they said. "Overcame adversity". "We'll be ready next year". "The future is bright." It's the same recycled garbage.

The Niners and Cowboys are historic franchises. We play for rings, not moral victories.

Neither team has won anything in nearly 30 years, so maybe we should re-evaluate that.

If you guys want to be nervous about the game or crushed if we lose, that's up to you. It's a personal choice and I can only speak to how I personally feel which is that we're playing with house money considering that we're starting a 3rd string QB and so I can't force myself to feel nervous.

Thats fine. And I'm sure last year you weren't nervous either because, well, Jimmy was hurt and we can't expect to win when our star quarterback has a bum shoulder.

and of course, must've felt splendid in 2019 when we lost because we'll it was a young team and first time being in the big dance. Can't expect them to not be nervous.

I get it. It just means a little more to me. Been a fan since 1989 when I was 9. Haven't seen a SB ring since I was 14. This is a wonderful shot and it. If we lose this season was a BUST !

I hope after Pollard saw the news of him possibly receiving franchise tag that he tells McCarthy that his hamstring is tightening up lol.

Controlling Pollard is they key to beating Dallas. He is their CMC. Warner and friends must not let him have a big game.

Which is why I thought it was odd for Cowboys to leak to Rapaport that Pollard would be tagged in the off-season if they couldn't work out a deal. If I was Pollard I'd be pissed.
My blood pressure is probally through the roof and I am not even playing.

You don't feel nervous because you really don't care. You're just here to troll.

Nah, I was crushed in 2019 because I thought that was our year (but our QB decided otherwise). Last year and this year, not as much due to the circumstances.
Just got a very hazy gold ale because it's gold

Don't tell others what they do and don't care about. Not being super nervous before the game is not the same as not caring.

I have a hard time understanding this.

This is one of the best rosters we have ever had and probably the healthiest we have ever been in the playoffs. You only get so many opportunities.
