SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs DALLAS COWBOYS - 2022 Season Divisional Round

Dallas hasn't been to a conference championship since 1997. The 49ers are going to their sixth in the past decade. Neither has won a SB in a long time but one has been far more successful overall.

Wow, Skip is calm and under control. Say's he got Dak'd.

I posted in that stat thread that thl started for the DAL @ 49ers game. I posted a Brock vs Dak efficiency stats on 3rd down, redzone, between the 20's and inside own 20. The numbers showed that Brock was clearly better than Dak. Plus Brock is a lot better than Dak when facing pressure.

Parsons is truly a phenomenal player, he plays aggressive and smart and with incredible instinct. He reminds me of Lawrence Taylor.

Nah

Right. LT gets home on a lot more plays.
Jeslus. Mcarthy pushed a cameraman over walking off the field!!!!
This turned out to be the biggest difference in the game. This and Brock has been the best playoff QB this season when under pressure.

I went over passing splits for both Dak and Brock. I made a list of 4 major passing categories and 7 effiency sub categories for each. The 4 major passing categories were 3rd down, redzone, between the 20's and inside own 20. The 7 effiency sub categories were comp.%, YPA, TD%, INT%, FD%, 20+% and sack%.

On 3rd down, Brock beat Dak in 4 of the 7 sub categiries. Brock has a higher comp.%, TD%, FD% and a lower INT%. Dak had a higher YPA, 20+%, and a lower sack%.

Inside the redzone, they are tied with 3. Brock has a higher comp.%, TD% and FD%. Dak has a lower INT%, sack% and a higher YPA.

Between the 20's, Brock has been better than Dak in 6 of the 7 categories. Brock has a higher comp.%, YPA, TD%, 20+% and a lower INT%. Dak has a lower sack%.

Inside own 20, they are tied with 3. Brock has a higher FD%, 20+% and a lower sack%. Dak has a higher comp.%, YPA and a lower INT%.

Brock has been better in 16 of the 26 total effiency sub categories and equal to or better than Dak in all 4 of the major categories.

Awesome analysis. The main difference between Dak and Purdy - is the same different between JG and Purdy - they can't make the clutch tight window throws, consistently.

that third down pass to CMC was CLUTCH! Huge huge moment and ridiculous composure by our young rook. Very proud of him.

it wasn't a sexy game but it was still a very good performance by Brock.

With the way Brock plays with such poise and the fact that we have the #1 defense. I like our chances next week.

I woke up so happy this morning!
You only take Stephen A in moderation and not take him seriously. But dude is funny, especially when it comes to the Cowboys lol

The last time the Cowboys went to the NFCCG, this was launched in America.

Jerry definitely on the phone with Sean Payton.

I doubt the Cowboys have the picks that the Saints are going to want for Payton.

Without a Lombardi it doesn't matter. I hope this changes very soon.
0-4 vs the 49ers in the playoffs.

You know, despite the buildup the Niners victory over the Cowboys was just a matter of course.
I wish I could say I'll remember this game for years as a classic or whatnot, but it was just business.
Kittle and CMC are amazing?
Our defense is violent?
Purdy is beyond himself?
Yup, all true, nice to confirm when it's on the line.
In the end, I enjoyed it but it was just another game. I just never saw Dallas as threatening to be better than the 49ers.
