SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs DALLAS COWBOYS - 2022 Season Divisional Round

Jerry definitely on the phone with Sean Payton.

A new coach doesn't change Dak. Jones already has said publicly he's fine. I don't know but they have a ton of free agents and Dak salary going up off the charts. I bet they get him to restructure.

His salary cap hit is $49M next season, it was $19M this year. Lol they have a ton of key free agents too.
I feel like the injury to pollard changed the game over anything and the universe was reacting to the Dallas fans and radio station wishing injury on the niners….
That was a real old fashion defensive battle. I hate the Cowboys but I have to give their defense a lot of credit. The Niners had to work for every yard they got.

Over the last few weeks I've been hearing about how teams lose the week after playing the Niners because they're physically beat up. I hope that doesn't happen to the 49ers this week. We played a physical battle against the Cowboys and the Eagles had a cakewalk after a week off. On paper they should be the more rested, physically prepared team. On the other hand, playing a tough game might be just what the Niners needed to prepare for a good defensive team like Philly. Purdy found out that not every game is going to be an easy 2 TD pass game.

Yeah, that final play had to sting quite a bit after all the smack talk all week.
I just wanna know what jonnydel has to say about the offense.

Sad and disturbing.

I said the exact same thing...wish injury upon CMC? Boom, instant karma with their OWN running back. Don't ever wish injury on another.

It sure did. They also have Zeke. If Niners lose CMC, it would certainly change how Kyle call the offense with Mitchell. But we won games with Mitchell before. Maybe Zeke is a shadow of himself is the excuse for Dallas...

This turned out to be the biggest difference in the game. This and Brock has been the best playoff QB this season when under pressure.

I went over passing splits for both Dak and Brock. I made a list of 4 major passing categories and 7 effiency sub categories for each. The 4 major passing categories were 3rd down, redzone, between the 20's and inside own 20. The 7 effiency sub categories were comp.%, YPA, TD%, INT%, FD%, 20+% and sack%.

On 3rd down, Brock beat Dak in 4 of the 7 sub categiries. Brock has a higher comp.%, TD%, FD% and a lower INT%. Dak had a higher YPA, 20+%, and a lower sack%.

Inside the redzone, they are tied with 3. Brock has a higher comp.%, TD% and FD%. Dak has a lower INT%, sack% and a higher YPA.

Between the 20's, Brock has been better than Dak in 6 of the 7 categories. Brock has a higher comp.%, YPA, TD%, 20+% and a lower INT%. Dak has a lower sack%.

Inside own 20, they are tied with 3. Brock has a higher FD%, 20+% and a lower sack%. Dak has a higher comp.%, YPA and a lower INT%.

Brock has been better in 16 of the 26 total effiency sub categories and equal to or better than Dak in all 4 of the major categories.

Great dive, YAC.

Agreed. I had a strong feeling the DAL offense was screwed after Pollard was carted off. Zeke is not good and Dak wasn't going to be able to win it with just his arm. I was afraid Dak might be more active as a scrambler but that never happened.
