Here's an interesting stat: In Hurts' six highest career rushing games, the Eagles have outscored their opponents by a combined two points. In his six lowest career rushing games, they have outscored their opponents by 105 points.

My guess is when he's able to pass well, he doesn't need to run and PHI is getting good chunk plays. When he struggles to see the field, he's scrambling more but overall their offense is not as effective.

Imo this is exactly right. Last years game vs the Niners is an example.

Bingo! That ties right into exactly what I said we should do on defense. Take away his first read and put pressure on him so he doesn't get comfortable in the pocket. The more Hurts runs, the less Brown and Smith will be involved in the game.

That's what I got out of that. Having 3 stud, go to playmakers definitely helps.
