I'm just happy we are not going against a Dan Quinn defense, he had them dialed in on every run, play action, bootleg, zone run whatever. One of the few times this season it looked like Kyle didn't have the upper hand.

He's gonna get a few head coaching looks for sure.

Eagles fan here. Thanks for having me and congratulations on making it to the final four. You guys have been a class franchise for decades, unlike the frauds that laughingly declares itself as America's team. Gotta admit, this was a rare occasion where I actually rooted for the Cowboys as I wanted it to be us that sent them home but I knew you guys would win. This is the rightful NFC finale; an old school, knock down, heavyweight drag out.

Welcome! Have to admit, I haven't known many Eagles fans. I hate the Cowboys as much as I do in large part because of that obnoxious fan base. Eagles fans have a reputation, but never personally knowing, I have no opinion. I've heard that it's not safe to go to your stadium as another fan, any truth to that?

lol compared to what?

People got Stabbed to death at candlestick.....

You're comparing Candlestick to Veterans Stadium? I get it. Nothing like cherry picking an isolated incident and comparing it to an everyday event for the sake of an argument. Are you trying to be sarcastic? Veterans Stadium was so notorious they not only had a jail in it, they had an entire court system to deal with offenders..

it was a bit ironic to throw shade at the Eagles on this, and I actually had my events screwed up, I was thinking of the 4 people that were shot or where beat into a coma after the raiders game years back.... The stabbing was a totally different event.

Candle Stick had a bad run on violence there for a stretch (mostly raiders fans) and youre right that Philly year in and year out is worse. Maybe not people getting killed, but a rough group of fans.

Who threw shade at the Eagles? Why would that even matter to you? People that try too hard to start arguments in this place are getting really old. Have an OK night there, bud.

My bad SLC,

That was in poor taste by me. It was a bit in jest and it was far too morbid a subject to get cute about.

All good man. I was trying to be friendly and asked a question to try understanding another fan base. More often than not people seem to try jumping on any comments they can for whatever reason, so I appreciate your response.

Installed as 2.5 'dog. Home team gets about 3 pts for being just that, home.

Welcome. Nice to have other team fans join and give their honest input without being disrespectful.

This is your board. To be disrespectful would be bad form. Plus, I've been a Niners fan for most of my life.

whyd you stop?
Love that we're an underdog because the Eagles just put it on the Giants, we do very well when everyone counts us out.

Two weeks in a row we looked mortal for half the game. We needed a wake up call. The Eagles are a really good team. Kyle has to hype them up for this one
Not gonna lie I'm the most nervous I've been for us going into a game since the KC game. Hopefully this one ends in us winning.

Maybe it's the most recent result that's clouding my judgement but our pass rush has taken somewhat of a dip lately and the Eagles OL is the best in the game. Eagles have a lot of weapons and AJ Brown absolutely killed us last year. We better bring our absolute A game on defense if we want a chance in this one.

On offense I hope and pray that the poor result last night was due to Quinn knowing Shanahan very well and us holding some things back. But to me the Eagles D is better than Dallas so our OL has to be on point and make their blocks because they really struggled yesterday at times. Brock has to be sharp. Can't make any mistakes on the road.

Hope we manage to right the ship and Eagles flying high after their Giants beating come in overconfident and get knocked in their teeth.

Gotta find a way to get the W and then get another one 2 weeks later!
This Dallas game was perfect to get primed up for Philly.

You wanna beat the Eagles run the damn ball. This team has actually gave up some yardage this season. In all their losses, teams actually had over 100 yards rushing.

Plus….the 9ers ain't no weak ass New York Giants. f**k around and you gonna find out!!!

Remember last season when no one gave the Rams a chance in the NFCC cause the 9ers beat them twice and had over 60 percent of our fans there.

Yup same s**t this year!!! No one giving the 9ers a chance.

Quite honestly, even though they're the number one seed, Dallas had me more worried.

49ers' D has not contained mobile QBs all year. A true #1 WR will make a ton of plays versus this D. Have you watched Mooney lately? Eagles' DL is far superior to Dallas'. In fact, the Eagles D is better overall, though the 49ers' rush will have better luck next week.

Tell me, without homering it, where do you see the 49ers getting all their points? Where do you see the 49ers holding their O (specifically their WRs) to sub 24/27 points? You aren't getting holding calls in the playoffs, or have you missed the last decade of playoff football?

Truly, without taking a fan's view, tell me where the 49ers will exploit the Eagles? Hell, even Vegas is hedging the numbers waiting on the sharps with the current line @-2.5 (which will obviously increase, likely to around 4.5-5 by mid week).

Eagles dl is super soft in the middle, if we establish the run and don't get cute we can win.
I wonder if we will have a better chance running the ball against the Eagles in the beginning of the game. When our offense can run the ball effectively, it's game over for the opposing defense.
