Our young stud QB has been playing good ball, he doesn't throw int. And makes some pretty good off script decisions. But I still can't figure out why he scrambles left all the time. So unless Kyle calls for flood left all the time he needs to go right more often. That's my only beef with the young man. He's going to get hurt twisting and throwing awkwardly like he does. Anybody have any thoughts on this or am I the only one???? Go Niners

It could have something to do with rolling out behind TW vs rolling out behind MM. But your guess is as good as mine.
The Eagles can pass rush, but can they tackle well? I mean, I see Shanahan doing another down and dirty game plan for the Eagles.

The 49ers defense is ranked #1 in tackling and the eagles defense is ranked 14th.

That's probably true. Just something I scratch my head about. Other than that I think he's doing better than JG. JMHO
How are the Eagles LBs? Obviously Reddick can rush the passer, but how is he against the run?

And if one ran numbers for the last 10-12 weeks v all season, I suspect the Niners' gap would be larger.

Love that we're an underdog because the Eagles just put it on the Giants, we do very well when everyone counts us out.

Two weeks in a row we looked mortal for half the game. We needed a wake up call. The Eagles are a really good team. Kyle has to hype them up for this one

One issue with Purdy is that he seems like a slow-starter. But some of the Niners' 2nd half success comes by wearing down the defense (and offense) physically.
The 49ers need to avoid leaving the middle of the field open so Hurts can't take off and run. That's been a problem when the face mobile QBs.
My butthole is tight

Pass rushing and sacking the QB requires a different skill set than stuffing the run

The 49ers can bring a physical running attack

We need to grind their D in a harbaugh style game and take PA shots after we wear them down
I hope they get Jennings involved in this game. He's not spectacular but he always seems able to get open for first downs. Reminds me of Bolden.

I feel like either Warner or Greenlaw will be spying him every play.

Niners got the offense to challenge Philly. Kyle is going to stick to run first. Dallas destroyed the run game in the first half but wore down. I expect the same game plan.

Eagles offense is a 3 headed monster with 2 really good WRs, potent rushing attack, and a mobile QB. This is going to be a tough game.

Really tough. They rack up sacks in huge numbers. They send talented DL's at you in waves. And then there's AJ Brown who wrecked this team the last time they ran into him. Those are my biggest worries with Hurts being a somewhat distant third behind Brown and the pass rush.

Goeddert concerns me as well.
niners are going yo have to play a lot better than they did yesterday to win this game.

Offensively, niners are going yo have to play a lot better than they did yesterday to win this game.

Corrected for you. And maybe not better just more explosive. I know we all love Brock and rightfully so but the same criticisms that MIGHT be applied to Trey need equal billing. Brock did what he needed to do is a tiny bit homer. While that is true yesterday was a bit back to red zone woes and FGs on tap. We need more than that to take the final step in.

And I do love Brock but I think "doing what he needed to do" is not equal billing as the other two QBs. Go 9ers. Kick some ass. I hope Brock has the game of his life Sunday. Let's go.
