That Philadelphia stadium is going to loud, very loud and raucous so Purdy and our offensive line gotta be ready for that. I suspect that the coaching staff is working on that in practice and game preparation overall and they will have installed more silent counts, hand signals, with more automatic pre-snap and motion reads. Overall though, I don't a lot of changes in the game plan when compared to the Dallas contest.

BTW, does anyone know if head coach Shanahan call's the offensive play directly to the QB from the sideline, or does he call it through the coaches upstairs and they then relay it to the QB ? I wouldn't think so, but just wondering.
Pretty sure Kyle calls it from the sideline with the OC's input from the booth. The OC gives him input from his vantage point above the field. Not positive though.

This is going to be a very hard game to win.

But i also thought last years trip to GB was a near impossible game with the cold and it turned out to be legendary.

Good start is key. If we get down early with crowd rocking and BP on the road trying to push the ball downfield we may have an issue.

Copy that, thanks
Philadelphia radio guys were just saying the Eagles roster was significantly stronger and they are confused it's only a 2.5 points spread.

That is a lil confusing. I mean I'm partial to 49ers obviously, however, we know home field is considered worth 3 pts. That means we would be favored in a neutral site by .5. Surprising considering they are the one seed with an MVP candidate at QB. Then again the betting markets are shrewd and know that D and run game travels well.

Lol because we aren't the giants, redskins, cowboys, or the AFC South
I think Colin Cowherd was pretty respectful and accurate in his assessment, while I'm hoping for a different outcome.

He supported Brock while there were plenty of naysayers, but this Eagles game will be where the rubber hits the road.

I think Brock will have to hang in the pocket and find openings where he didn't vs the Cowboys. Eagles have a young Russel Wilson type at QB and they might be able to put some points on the board and we'll have to respond by hitting the paint.

I'd be shocked if we held them to FGs.

Again with the recency-bias. Dallas had it going for them after beating the Bucs. Eagles have it going for them now after beating the Giants.

The Niners? They just come along and smack teams around while nobody cares.

It's up to the defense to keep it close so that the 49ers on offense can hit them with body blows (run game) in the first three quarters, then hopefully break through in the 4th. Huf and Gipson are going to be tested and I'm nervous about that. I think Ryans will have to get creative with manufacturing pressure (don't blitz too much) while also playing containment on Hurts. Won't be easy.

The biggest mismatch in this game is our Run game against their Run D.

if we run the ball and keep Hurts off the field we have a great chance of winning.

I expect more from Deebo this game….. Niners by 7 again.

Commandos ran the ball 40 times with their runningbacks in their win vs Philly.
Kinda surprised about the weather forecast but I am not from PA. Lol. Low 50s in January sounds pretty damn good. Lol. I was in Reno for a while & it will be colder there next wkend than in Philly. For whatever reason, was not expecting that lol. Not bad at all.

I think this is a very sensible take.

If the game goes sideways on Philly it will be thru turnovers. If we can perhaps step in front of something, looking at you Huf.
I just had a moment where I stared at the word Philadelphia and everything around it blurred out. It was like I was seeing it for the first time. What an odd group of letters.

That being said, Niners are gonna need a defensive TD in this one to tip the scales. Otherwise 27-27 in regulation. After that who knows.

"Philadelphia" is a combination of two Greek words: love (phileo) and brother (adelphos). - from Google

it's literally the city of brotherly love, which is a lot like calling LA the City of Angels.
