I saw the news to spread about Eagles is very cheating On Field-Goals & Extra Points, And There's Video Evidence To Prove It (VIDEO). Check it out here

Why they want to cheating and cheating as they are smart? Lol cheating!!🤬
Excuse the rant…

This 49ers team has a wee bit of experience chasing/containing/beating running QBs. That does not mean they have never beaten us. Quite the contrary… We know very well what a PITA they can be. (Seahawks, Cardinals anyone) But the Niners DO know how to deal with them.

What I find humorous is how most (all) fail to acknowledge that…in ALL of NFL Super Bowl history, only ONE rushing QB (500+ yards in season) managed to win. Russell Wilson. …and that Seahawk team was known for their defense AND offense.

Many like to bring up the fact that no rookie QB has won a SB…fair. But just like it was "impossible" for for a running QB to win the big one, I believe the stars are now aligned for the "impossible" to happen for our rookie QB.

When the Niners start running against the Eagles, the few broken plays or scramble/runs that get the Eagles a few points, won't be enough to tip the scales. I fully expect to see an early Eagle lead melt away in the 3rd (early 4th) quarter…IF they ever take the lead.

Final score:
49ers - 31
Eagles - 17

so that means a lot of 1-1 matchups and if we can get past the d line on run play - that leaves a lot of room to run.
i think our offense has a great chance to score and sustain drives on them. I'm excited!

That can't be right. There are many teams that use a five man front. ARI, SEA, LAR all use a five man front and that's just naming the NFC west teams.
Just for fun, Colin Cowherd went thru the Niners and Eagles lineups and he listed the top 10 players in this game. It came out that he had 5 Niners and 5 Eagles. He had Bosa at #1 and Williams at #2. Other Niners were Kittle (#9), CMC (#8) and Warner (#7). He admitted that leaving Deebo, Greenlaw anfd Hufanga off the list wasn't easy and had them all in the next group of 5. This game is going to be loaded with talent. The only thing that will probably keep the winner from being favored in the SB is the QB. Even though he had Hurts on his top 10 list he's a long way from Mahomes or Burrow.

What concerns me more than hurts ability to run, is just deep pass.

it's really simple for us on defense to give us a chance to win - stop the run/contain the wares and get pressure.

on offense - establish the run (to slow down the pass rush) and always have a hot read.

Idk how these stats compare to the rest of the league but here they are for our deep pass coverage this season.

47.4% completion
16.8 YPA
15.8% TD rate
5.3% INT rate

Without comparing those stats to every other defense in the league, that TD% looks stupid high.

I know we like to keep everything in front so other teams don't really take a bunch of shots as we try to get them off that. We allow the short stuff and rally to the ball. That's the plan anyway.
Another day closer

Teams have averaged 3 deep passes a game against us this season including playoffs. The opposition has 9 TD's to only 3 INT's.
Comparing talent is basically splitting hairs at this point.

Gonna be ALL about the chess match. Siriani vs Shanahan.
Kinlaw needs to have a big gameb

But how many sacks, incompletions, and strip sacks? "Everybody go deep" doesn't seem like a good strategy against our defense.

The collection of DL that PHI has put together is damn impressive.

It really is. They have 4 guys that can win their 1-on-1s in Sweat, Reddick, Cox and Hargraves, and that's not even counting Brandon Garaham. I think the biggest difference between them and the Niners is that they can stay big up the middle and get after the QB whereas the Niners have to go small next to AA to generate a pass rush from inside. This allows them to defend the run better while still being able to get after the QB.

I gave the completion percentage already. Do you want the sack rate as well? The TD% is still stupid high anyway you slice it.
