SF 49ERS at Eagles Pregame Thread - 2022 Season Conference Final

Eagles 2022-2023 deep coverage. Overall, the eagles have held offenses to 36.2% completion on passes 20+ yards. They gave up 12.5 YPA, 12.8% TD rate and a 12.8% INT rate. They have looked better than us overall as my post earlier today would show. But when you look at the last 8 games against Philly, their is a whole other story there.

In the last 8 games of the season, including playoffs, the eagles have not done so well against the deep ball. They have been giving up 60.0% of passes for a 21.1 YPA, 33.3% TD rate and an INT rate of 6.7%. In fact they have given up 5 TD's in the last 8 games and have only 1 INT in that same time span.

If Shanahan gets that running game going, it might be a wrap.

I will be adding Purdy vs Hurts deep passing efficiency statistics next.

I think he's maybe an ex player but some dude talking on local NBC Philadelphia station about the game is saying we have Nick Bosa but they basically have 4 Nick Bosas. At least it sure sounded like that's what he said, dude must've been hit in the damn head one too many times. They don't have 4 Nick Bosas, what a s**t for brains.

In our last game against Dallas, in Dallas, we scored 34 points with a back up quarterback. Our defense was horrible that day but.........

We beat the snot out of Dallas in our first game. Dak didn't play. Not sure if that was a disadvantage for them 🤔

I am sure they were just hyping up the fact that the eagles have 4 pass rushers with 10+ sacks this season. That pass rush is no joke. They can get there and they can get there quick.

Ask yourself this… are the 49ers and Vikings even remotely the same? The 49ers have proven to be a tough out. They've always won playoff games or lost by the smallest of margins. The Vikings are frauds. Everyone knows this.
