If I am reading that correctly, Brock does have a glaring weakness. How often does Philly run cover 2 man?

Not sure, but it's worth noting that the number under each score is the number of plays of that coverage that the player has faced. Which means the sample size against Cover 2 Man is only 4 plays for Purdy.

Ah. Got you.

Our easy schedule? You played the Bears, Bucs, Broncos, Falcons, Saints, Dolphins, Panthers, Raiders, Commodores, Cards twice, Rams twice and Seahawks twice. How many of those aforementioned teams made the playoffs?? Yes, Seahawks were a nice story, just as the Giants, right? Your schedule looked hard prior to the start of the season but turned out to be just as "cake-walk" as ours. And yet, here we are. It's as even a matchup as there could possibly be and will likely be a nail biter from start to finish. I just hope the zebras ref evenly.

There is a common opponent, the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles had better offensive output in both of those games, scoring 26 and 34 points in the matchups, whereas the Niners only put up 19. On the other hand, the Cowboys put up 17 and 40 points against the Eagles' defense in the two games, whereas the Niners held the Cowboys to 12. I suspect the numbers don't lie: The Eagles have a slightly better offense and the Niners have a slightly better defense.

Washington would be another common opponent.

In regards to Jalen Hurts, the Eagles give him plenty of time to throw the ball. They have a really good Oline. Bosa was neutralized last week. He needs to step it up. Stop the big plays to AJ Brown and Smith, and contain Hurts running.

Based on the stats, Eagles pass rush > Dallas pash rush. Also, Bosa hasn't played upto his potential last 3-4 games, hopefully he is fully healthy.

The running QB is the most difficult part, and they have a probowl running back, who is actually used quite a bit. Two 1000yd receivers too.

Tough matchup, don't know who wins.

Love when fans who actually think they know football say non sense like this.... No bro, because Bosa didnt have a sack you figure hes not playing up to his pro bowl self.... Dude has disrupted several plays. Football is about timing and beating your man. Bosa disrupts so many plays that players like Jimmie Ward, Demonidor Lenior look like pro bowlers.. c'mon man.

This same niners team has been to the NFC championship game or better for the last few years. They've been tested.

Ive stated this several times, but every team that ends up with 13-14 wins has some sort of cake schedule. Its not like you're playing teams like the chiefs, eagles, niners, bills, Bengals every week. SOS debate is stupid imo. As long as you win games you should then yea, you're a great team.

That's the tricky thing about stats is they don't actually say that. You'd have to define what makes theirs better, since Dallas had a lot higher pressure rate, while Philly had more sacks. Some have said that QBs are partially responsible for sacks, but not so for pressure rate. I'd personally rather have the higher pressure rates.

Eagles DLine has more probowlers than Dallas, more 1st rd picks (5), more sacks (highest in NFL), multiple DLinemen with double digit sacks, and PFF grades them higher than Dallas. Sure, there are nuances like pressure rate and stuff, but a sack is actually getting the job done. I guess bottom line, they are very good. The 49ers OLine will have their hands full for one more week, and playing an away game has it's disadvantages. Hopefully playing Dallas helps in better game planning for the pass rush.
Let's see, anything can happen on Sunday.

In addition, there is a common opponent in the Washington Commanders. The Eagles split with them, and the Niners won their matchup. The first Eagles' game the Commanders ran 22 attempts for 87 yards for a 4.0 avg. and the Commanders were beaten soundly. In the second Washington ran 49 times for 152 yards, a 3.1 avg., and won narrowly. Against San Francisco, Washington had 33 rushing attempts for 79 yards for a 2.4 avg. The Niners have a better run defense than the Eagles. The thing that could undo the Niners defense is more likely if the Eagles' passing game gets rolling with A.J. Brown, et al., and then being back on our heels we get occasional back breaker runs by Hurts. But if the Eagles can't pass effectively against the Niners they may have problems running it.

Because of coach defensive coordinator is Jonathan Gannon. He is very smart to calles plays when they can creative to sacks the quarterback. They are successful to sacke the league. Jonathan Gannon is very good job of coach defensive coordinator!

lol no.

That's fine, we're like the pistons pre bulls championships

Imagine believing this Eagles team going on their first deep playoff run is comparable to the GOAT

where did that come from? i keep hearing MJ being invoked here.. philly is more a Dr J town or dare i say.. Ben Simmons

Speaking of Philly basketball, the way that entire city treated Jimmy Buttler when he went to Miami after the Sixers chose Tobias Harris over him is one of the most classless things I've ever witnessed, Eagles deserve to get blown out Sunday as a punishment for that alone.

I'm not a diva, but throw me the damn ball

- AJ Brown
I know this is kind of how he always talks, but not liking how he's describing this lol.

Prior to the start of practice, coach Kyle Shanahan shared several of his star players -- including running back Christian McCaffrey and receiver Deebo Samuel -- would be sidelined for the on-field session but are expected to play in Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.

"I expect them to, but there are no guarantees," Shanahan said. "Especially it being the NFC Championship Game, I think there's a better chance they will be ready since there is nothing guaranteed after this. Hopefully. We will keep our fingers crossed."

Common Opponent, New Orleans Saints: Eagles (playing without Hurts) yield 313 yards and 20 points to Saints in a loss; Niners yield 260 total yards in a 13-0 shutout of New Orleans. Against three common opponents, the Niners defense has performed better in all three games.

The Eagles point output for the year is 477 points, avg. 28 per game. The Niners points given up 277, avg. 16.3 points per game. If you split the Eagles' average and the Niners average give up, you come up with a range where the Eagles are likely to put up 21 to 24 points on Sunday. This is what the Niners will have to top.

Of course, there are bound to be crazy plays, turnovers, injuries, penalties. This should be a close game.
