Just logged in to say I effin love this team! I try not to get my emotions into the games but damn I was a nervous, anxious freak! Thought I could have had a heart attack smh lol this is playoff football and I'm glad they beat Dem Boyz because my coworkers ate crow. In the words similar to BB, "On to Philadelphia" let's go 49ers punch it in for the big ticket!!!!!

They probably will to a certain extent to prevent the deep ball. Might not have much safety help. Last time we saw AJ Brown he ate them for lunch. Hopefully Ward can lock him up.
Agreed. There will probably be some frustrating downs where they complete an 8 yard pass because the 49er CBs are playing off. I guess it depends on the gameplan Ryans comes with. Force tight window throws, or force PHI to be patient and put together long drives by keeping everything in front of them.
Can you please explain this to me? It IS frustrating to see a 7 yard cushion on 3rd and 5, and when the ball is snapped, our CB maintains it. I know they're trying to prevent a deep ball, and obviously know what they're doing more than I do, but I still don't understand it. Why not just jam them at the LOS and then, you know, cover them?
No corner wants to get beat! But sometimes I notice they're late on the closing and they get those easy first downs. Hopefully they play tighter coverage Especially now with the speedy D Smith they're facing. they need to generate a pass rush and throw off the timing. We know that scumbag is going to run and it's been an Achilles heel let's hope D Ryan's gots the gameplan 🙏

Our corners need to play their receivers tight. Hurts isn't good fitting in tight throws.

Yes. On RPOs you gotta hit Hurts with or without the ball and make him question himself. They may get a few yards on that run, but we need to put the SF stamp on Hurts.

Most lucid comment on this board so far.

If not then the media could be right and nobody can beat them. Dallas played erratically at the end of the season also, but once they beat down a horrible Bucs team everyone forgot about it and thought they were gonna win it all.
In their last 6 games they killed the Giants three times, barely beat the lowly Bears, and lost to the Cowboys and Saints.
One of those victories over the Giants was only 6 points…
The Seahawks dominated the Giants too, whoop-de-doo. So based on this, I don't consider the Eagles last 2 wins nearly as impressive as ours. To me, the Niners are the best team they have faced all year. And it should show this Sunday

Anybody else notice, Hurts has a weird looking body? His lower half is huge compared to his upper half.

That's why he can squat 600 lbs and dead lift 650 lbs. He doesn't skip leg day.

Look back at how he imploded in the Bama Championship game. Tua came in and mopped up and won the game in the second half. Hurts ran on every play and was stopped. Pressure does strange things to people. I will never forget what Keena Turner said about facing Dan Marino in the SB. Once a QB gets hit often enough I don't care how good he is, he becomes ordinary.
