This one. A very popular Eagles forum. We are one of the biggest fanbases in the league. Of course we have great forums.

Eagles fans are the worst in the league. 🎉

Or the best depending on how you look at them.

Jalen Butt Hurts

I hate that dude.

I think hurts is a good player but I think he's overrated. I don't think he is in the elite category. If he balls on us, I'll probably change my mind - but I expect him to have a dak-esq game

He is overrated, last I remember him was choking in the National Championship Game, when Tua replaced him. I think he chokes again on Sunday.

I thought i read that Lane hasn't given up a sack since 2020. that's insane

MM versus Reddick is a huge match up as well

Correct. I don't know that there is another player in the NFL that I enjoy watching more. He just dominates his opponents. Future first ballot HOF for sure. He's got a serious abdominal injury that needs surgery after the season and you could see the pain in his eyes during the Giants game but he played as well as he always does. Just a total warrior. Bosa will test him like no other.

When I hear about the best in the game, Trent's name is always on top. If lane is this dominating why haven't I heard his name as often? Bosa will be more on Mailata than Lane

Lane is a RT. If he was truly elite he'd be a LT. Remember when Joe Staley said he'd rather retire than take a demotion to RT? Thats the hierarchy in the NFL. He's arguably the best RT in football, but theres a difference.

Aaah, got it. Yes, there is a huge difference just look at the salaries between RT and LT

The tickets for this NFCC game are in track to be the most expensive ever for a conference championship - that tells me that a lot of niner fans are going. That's why they're getting so expensive, or least that's my hope. Hahahah no science or data behind that, just my hope.

has there Been any data released saying how many niner fans are expected.? We usually travel very very well.
it was already at 18% early Monday, but your hypothesis isn't that far fetched. As season ticket holders, we know which teams like to travel or buy tickets at any cost. We also raise prices for certain teams.

When you say "18%" - I take it you mean 18% of the crowd is projected to be 49ers? What is the average % of away fans that usually attend the league?

is 18% good?
To be specific, the report was that 18% of the tickets that were bought were from California. 18% is good amount of fans and i'm guessing more people have bought since then. as for avg of away fans, that would depend on the team.

just imagine if we get that place looking Red..

I was there last year and it was very red. My buddy sitting next to me who's (whose? whom? whomis?) an Eagles fan was pissed. Now this game is a different beast so who knows. Still, last year it was week 2 when every team thinks they're a superbowl contender and the Niners crowd still took over.

Throwing batteries at opposing fans and players doesn't make you the "best" fans, with that said I still don't think Eagles fans are as bad as the Seahawks fanbase.

Is it just me or did the week start out pretty well and fair with eagles fans/media accurately saying how evenly matched the two teams are but now they are all losing their gd minds? What Niner team do they think they are playing?
Offense has gotten off to a slow start in the last 2 games and I don't see that changing Sunday, so I'm hoping that Kyle will have the first drive scripted with some juicy plays to get a touchdown on the 1st drive. He's been really great coming out of the half and I'm confident in our ability to score 2nd half points, but in this game especially, I don't think we can afford to come out flat and not really get anything going until the 2nd half. By then we could be down more than 1 score and that's a bad place against these dudes.

9ers played a tight game against a good Cowboys team and Eagles blew out a bad Giants team
that overachieved all year. Media sees the differences in those scores so they're all saying Eagles

The moment we beat the cowgirls I had ppl telling me or others, "Eagles will beat you anyways", so no.
You've got to understand that the "sports entertainment" business are now in bed with all of the sports betting rackets. They get them to push the narrative that they think will increase betting. The niners do three things better than almost every team in the league on offense, YAC, outside running, and passing over the middle. All things that the eagles struggle to deal with any consistency. They're a good team, but if the niners have any disadvantage in personnel, and I'm not sure there are many, the advantage the niners have in coaching more than makes up for it. It won't be an easy game, but it is a game we have an advantage in three very important areas.

Agreed. Come out flat could be screwed. I've got this feeling Eagles will come out strong. Need to match em.

stop the RPOs and force Hurts to play inside the pocket and win passing the ball. SF does that and they will win.
our top 2 RBs CMC an ELI are both hampered. CMCs sounds to be just a bad bruise on his calf, however having our top 2 RBs not at 100% really really really hurts our "run run run" strategy that is needed for sunday. we need tough runners ready to wear this eagles D Down. will we activate TEco raw? hopefully. no reason him an mason cant take carries from CMC an ELI, theyve both proven to be capable of that. only thing they cant do is the receiving work CMC can do which he can still do on limited snaps.

hopefull they just need rest an by sunday their bodies are good.
