Traditionally, a spy, eg, MLB, stays put to key on QB if he decides to run. That's fine right up until the opponents run 2 receivers right across the middle and MLB has to take one. Bingo, there goes Hurts.
So, what exactly are our plans to stop Hurts from racking up the yards on runs between tackles, or when our DBs have good coverage , nobody is open and Hurts takes off? Against the NYG, he ran 9 times all up the middle. They had no answer for Hurts. What is our plan for him?
Mods if you have a.better place for this, please put it there. Thx.
