There are sober fans after this game?

Haha typical Aussie

RT is average at best and need major upgrades. Center position needs improvement as well. Don't have a lot of trust in backups either.

Do feel we need an upgrade next to Arik.
Need couple of upgrades in secondary.
Need a real backup TE
Need a RB that can spell CMC a good amount - really prefer CMC to get more snaps as a receiver.

Purdy is amazing - and played out of his mind over the last few weeks of the season. But imo the best thing for the team will be to let Purdy and Lance battle it out in the summer. Seeing what Hurts has done this season gives me all the hope for Lance and still feel his ceiling is so higher - and just needs to play. Either way - we should have 2 really good young QBs in our system for 2023 and 2024.

The issue is if Brock needs TJ surgery he'll be out most of next season. This again appoints Trey as the starting QB. I don't like that idea if we are to make another SB run. I'm in favor to signing a Brady or Rogers even if it's just for 1 or 2 years. I wasn't like this before but I'm open to it now. This gives us a SB win odds even better.

Plus we don't know if the NFCW gets better next off season or not. We can't predict what those teams do to upgrade.

And a TE that can block other than Kittle.

I think if Brock isn't healthy (really hope that isn't the case) - we should go in with Lance just like we did this season. What has changed from start of 2022 season to 2023 season?

We'd better hope Trey improves as a QB. Week 1 in Chicago looked more embarrassing as the season went on.

this isn't a concern

I would agree it's not a MAJOR concern, but there is work to be done. I like how you're thinking at QB. That is the first step in keeping this team relevant, Still have big decisions to make on McGlinchey, the entire DT rotation besides AA, and the safety position.
My take:

Jimmie Ward - yes, bring him back
Jimmy G - NO
Samson Ebukam - no
Moseley - no ( will cost too much)
McGlinchey - only for vet minimum, otherwise NO
Azeez - no (will costs too much)
Robbie Gould - yes (unless he retires)
Brunskill - yes
Hassan Ridgeway - no
Kerry Hyder - no
Tyler Kroft - no
Maurice Hurst - no
Tashon Gipson - no (solid starter, might demand more money)
Dontae Johnson - no
Akeem Spence - no
Jordan Willis - yes
Taybor Pepper - yes
Dwelley - no
Jake Brendel - yes
Verrett - no
Flannigan Fowles- no
Kevin Givens - no
Colton McKivitiz - yes
Jaylon Moore - yes
Charles Omenihu - yes

2024:
Nicholas Bosa: yes obviously
Kinlaw: oh f**k NO
Burks: no
Ray Ray McCloud: no
Charlie Woerner: no

Ward sounded like he's already decided to leave. His post game interview was bad. He talked about how well he played instead of how the team played. Just a bad look.

McCloud did a good jod returning kicks and even had a couple plays from scrimmage. Bring him back unless he costs too much.

McGlinchey is 50/50. Depends on what they can draft or find in free agency.

I agree with all of your picks.

I'd like to see Aaron Rodgers under center next year, he looks ready for a fresh challenge. Give Green Bay one of our 3rd rounders.

Then we can build the roster around Trey the following years draft, assuming he beats out Purdy for back up.

I'll be disappointed if Purdy and Lance are our 1 and 2 QB's. We need to go all in.
Most of us agree on the list. I will say that you have to pay SOMEONE to play the roster spots, so there's a bunch of guys on this list that I wouldn't keep if they are gonna command decent money but WOULD keep if they are at a minimum. Like: Hyder, Brunskill, Mosely, Azeez and Ebukam.

Prepare to be disappointed. We're not getting Rodgers, we can't afford him whether it's draft capital or salary cap.

And that's a good thing, he's not the player he once was.
I'm ready for a stopgap Qb (Rodgers or Brady) to pair with this roster. This roster is soooooooo good pretty much everywhere except where it matters most. I don't care what the naysayers will say about them, just give me Brady for a couple years (assuming GB won't trade us Rodgers) with this offense and this roster. I don't wanna waste opportunities because we are hoping that our young QB's are gonna turn into something. Let em' sit and learn for two years while we win SB's.

What's changed is we've seen what this offense is capable of with a QB that can function within Shanahan's system.

Green Bay isn't trading Rodgers within the NFC.

They are especially not trading him to SF when Kyle merely asking if such a scenario was possible last offseason pissed off Lafleur so much.
