Well, I'm going to the funeral at 11:30.

Taking separate cars so I can leave early.

Also taking my phone.

Also wearing my black 49ers on-field thermal...only thing black I own so they're going to have accept it.

Condolences but also lol. Don't be cheering during the eulogy.

I'm going to be a low-key wreck.

I didn't want to go, I thought making the date the same day as NFCCG was selfish as hell, then I remembered you only die once, but 49ers football is forever.

FTR, it's the parent of the wife's best friend, I'm going as emotional support and to participate in a ceremony that's very important to someone we love.

You're doing the right thing. The Football God's will reward you.

I think I might try the swapping of jersey's today since I will be home to watch the game. Bosa on defensive drives and Aiyuk on offensive drives.

If we lose I am blaming you for messing with the mojo and not wearing the same jersey all game. Just saying.

But the opposite seems to have a better game when I have to choose. I want both of them to have great performances today.

I wish I could wear my vintage 1981 gold satin Niners jacket but it no longer fits me. Forty years have added almost 40 lbs. I bought it right after he Dallas game in 1981 when the Niners embarrassed the Cowboys 45-14. All season long fans were asking me where I bought it since merchandise wasn't easily available like it is now. Women wanted to buy one for their boyfriends or husband for Christmas. This was before Starter and Chalkline got going big time in retail. Mine is actually made in the US which makes it a rarity now. After the Catch game I found a patch that commemorated it and had my mom sew it on the sleeve.

Now I just need to lose 40 lbs.

Nice that is a classic!
I still have my 1994 Niner Super Bowl jacket from Apex Pro Line! It still fits me, and I recently gave it to my son! My dad, son, and myself three generations of Niner fans watching the game today!

I still find it cool that there's og fans on here. I still vividly remember watching that game where Joe brought us back against the Eagles in the 4th quarter with his 4 TD's.

My 10yo is a diehard and I hope he can experience the good memories that we relish. Starts today! We gotta take this game Ninerz 💪🏽
Gardner Minshew finishes this game at QB for Eagles in loosing effort to NFC Champ 49ers.

Joe had a lot of great games but that may have been his greatest. Got pounded by a great Eagles defense in the first half and then carved them up in the 4th quarter.

During the NFC championship vs Seattle, I was at a Cambodia genocide camp and missed the entire game. We found a tourist in the 49ers shirt and he let us know we lost. I'm glad I never watched that game live. And being at that camp put life and the game into perspective. Football is a game, as much as we pretend its everything, family is a lot more important. My condolences Tycore.
The Eagles are not going to hand Purdy the first loss of his NFL career. They will, however, add to the legend.

I have one of those too. Is it the red, white and gold one with the SF oval logo on the back? I had to buy it when the gold one started getting too small. It's oversized so I can still wear it. I can wear that one while the gold one watches from the other recliner. That way I have all the SB wins represented.

Nice 👍
that will give the Niners luck for the game!
