The smell of everyone's barbeque specialties is wafting over the parking lot. Everyone is excited and confident. We all spend the next 3 hours eating and getting liquored up. My ticker partner worked at Seagrams bottling plant so we always had plenty of "free" liquor. By 12:30 we're all primed and start heading into the stadium.

We enter the stadium and it's electric. Wayne Tarr is leading the Go Niners chant. Banjo Man and the Red Man are strolling through the stands pumping up the crowd even more. The Niners usually won but the games were always exciting. The ride home was always great if they won. We would turn on the radio and listen to post game interviews and replays of game calls from Lon Simmons or Joe Starkey. Getting out of the lot sometimes took 45 minutes and then we had a 45 minute drive home so we had plenty of time to hear the highlights and digest what we saw. If it was an NFC championship we would sometimes go to a restaurant and celebrate with a lot of other Niner fans.
