No shade on him for that

There was a reason why the eagles were rushing up to the line to run the next play.

I swear to God... some of the comments on here show just how s**tty some of our so called fans can be....

"Fire Kyle"
"Sign Brady or Rogers"
"Purdy is awful"

Blah blah blah....

Some of you youngsters don't know what bad times look like unless you lived through the immediate post Mariucci era... 9-23 under Dennis Erickson... 23-41 under Nolan and we were talking about teams with NO hope. And then even more recently and just prior to Kyle you had the debacles that were Chip Kelly and Jim Tomsula! I am 52 years old and my old man took me to my first ever Niner game at The Stick in 1977. We had Jim Plunkett at QB and taht team was 5-9 and the next year was even worse when went 2-14! Then we got some kid called Joe at QB... a kid taht played at a major midwest university... who was considered undersized and not particularly athletic but with good football smarts... What was his name again? Brock Purdy? No, it was of course Joe Montana but that is the same description for Purdy!

Y'all need to chill out and take stock...

We have a GREAT Coch in Kyle.
We have a fantastic GM in Lynch who isn't afraid to take chances...
We have Deebo locked up...
We have MCCaffery
We have Aiyuk
Bosa
Kittle
Greenlaw
Warner
2 young QBs on rookie contracts and will have around $30 million in cap space.

We finished teh regular season 13-4 with a THIRD STRING QB and was the top third of the leage in terms of most injured team in the NFL.. yet we still surviced.

WE JUST PLAYED IN THE DAMNED CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!

Yes, we will lose Demeco to Houston and no doubt we will lose some players, but they will also be replaced. Kyle and Lynch have shown a knack for evaluating late round draft picks so I am not worried.

We have had a GREAT season and while this one hurts, I am so proud of this team!

Ride or die.. Bang bang Niner gang baby!

This!
Thanks for the post!

Agreed! This game won't give me nightmares but reading some of those coaching names might. Erickson… the horror.

Our DL disappeared. We need to reevaluate some of the players we were counting on.

Kinlaw sucks. Should have kept DJ.

It may just be dumb luck but I think Kyle might have a curse on injured QB's. Has he made it through a season since being a head coach with one QB who didnt get hurt? I dont think he has. So what is really going on?

Most of that is Jimmy not understanding how to protect himself. He tries to fight out of sacks like a dummy and gets hurt. Just go down.

DL played really well until secondary started getting penalties.

I'm shading the broadcast crew because I told my wife I saw that obvious bobble from the first angle but I also told her that they weren't gonna sow the definitive angle until we'll after the ball was snapped because they know we have quality control watching TV and would have told coach to challenge

but when a guy stretches out and falls directly ont the ball you know it's gonna juggle so just throw the flag and take a look

He doesn't prioritize his offensive line. Outside of Staley (who he inherited) and Williams, it's bedn cast-offs and scrubs.

McGlinchey has been a liability for years, here's hoping they don't bring him back.
I will say one thing the penalties were all on 3rd downs and it killed any chance…That and Purdy going down .. it was iver after he got hurt in the first
This loss isn't as bad as the one against the rams last year

That's why he's gone. Can't be trusted. SEA rolled Trey up the same way J Ward rolled up DAL RB. That's gonna lead to injuries always
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6mdZ51rg1s&ab_channel=BrianSuttererMD Great explanation of the injury

Especially if they're scrambling to snap the ball.

At worst, you burn a timeout, which sucks, since it's early, but on a 4th down play that close to the end zone, it might be worth it.

AND then ? Teams do that to bluff as well. If he wasted a challenge and it was a clear catch you'd have a problem too. Kyle can't see everything hence why there are people in the booth. With technology today the real culprit is fox and their replay angles
The Eagles are better, maybe not by a lot, but by enough. I love Kyle being the coach, he's damn good, but having a tight end block Reddick on a long developing play is so careless and disrespectful to the game itself. Risk/reward not at all worth it. The game ended on that one play.

All in all it's remarkable they got here. Nothing but respect for this group.

If I were on the team all I would say about this game is we will see the Eagles again next year. Let's see what they got in a real fight.
