SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at PHILADELPHIA EAGLES - 2022 Season Conference Championship

I like Kyle in general. There are a few things he does that i question as a coach, but dont think there is someone better we could bring in off the street. My biggest worry with Kyle is it feels like always the bridesmaid and never the bride with him. Something catastrophic always happens it seems.
The blame goes to both Shanahan and Lynch for going into a title game with Josh Johnson as your back up
And no third option. Sorry. We basically went into the game with one QB.

The injuries to Elijah Mitchell, the domestic distraction, and other things. The penalties, the unraveling of the team...bad week overall.

We basically had one guy running the ball today...no Mason, no Davis-price, no coleman.
The Shanahan injury curse continues for the 49ers. In hindsight, they should have had 3 QB's on the active roster. I have never seen an NFL team incapable of throwing a forward pass in a game before due to QB injury, especially a championship game. It was embarrassing to be in that situation. They would have been better off going to the wildcat, and running more RB sweep passes. Was Josh Johnson really the best free agent OB they could sign?

This sadly explains our luck with injuries.

This year though we were pretty damn healthy @ the other spots. The QB became our Achilles hill @ the end due to a freak injury.

Just not something you expect or can predict.
Some of you need to listen to Kittle in the presser

"s**t happens"

Well when Purdy went down, I think the whole game plan went to s**t.

I'll wait on your suggestions as to who should've been the number 2 quarterback

I think JJ because he supposedly knows the offense. But game management he lacks.
Niners were the least penalized team during the regular season. Except today by this all star group of cheating refs.
Brock sounds like he's in pain

On offense i totally get that. Dont know what it was with the D today. All the little ticky tack fouls and just lack of composer. Going to be an interesting offseason for this D.

Some of those were legit when the D was just frustrated though.
