JIMMY!!! REFS!!! KYLE!!.

It sucks that we lost and Brock got hurt. Sure hope it isn't serious. At the end of the day the Eagles were just better than we were. That's the way it goes sometimes. Better luck next year. Go Niners!

Their defense only had to defend the run for almost half the game. CMC still averaged 5.6 YPC. Their offense gained a total of 269 yards at 3.8 yards per play with their healthy QB1.They were not better. They were really lucky.
Maybe. Better on this day perhaps and certainly lucky for them that we lost all of our QB's. But the result is the same. In any event I'm done here until next season. Don't think I could stand 6 months of some variation of, "we lost because Jimmy was smiling on the sidelines and the refs rigged the game because of East coast media bias and, and, and the world is flat!!!".
If turning a blind eye to obvious intentional one sided officiating makes you feel better more power to you.

Sometimes it's easier to just be an ignorant moron

Brock got hurt. We lost. Not the end of a great story.
New OL pieces and some healthy qb luck....next year....or the one after...or the one after....

Be ok if that were actually the story... Which it wasn't...

What was the story?

Blown 4th down call that started the game, refs calling the game for Philly for 3 straight quarters and a QB injury that happened in between.

Supposedly the league reviews plays for the refs but where were they on that 4th down Smith catch. Should have been incomplete turnover on downs
Didn't fit the agenda.

Call it both ways and it's reasonable. Call it one way and it's not... It was not called both ways. Just another reason why the NFL is constantly a refereeing joke.

They wanted to get out of the stadium alive

On the UK broadcast that we get here in Ireland one of the analysts said jokingly they have a courtroom under the stadium
Was he just joking or do they?

Veterans Stadium did.
man talk about the butterfly effect. If eagles win the toss, the entire game is prolly different with us receiving first. Or if shanny just challenges that pass...

Shouldn't have had to. There's rules in effect to make sure the refs do their jobs... THEY DIDNT

Plus multiple Jail cells. Could not imagine how bad that place must have been.

Impossible challenge. The announcers the 49ers couldn't see that it was incomplete. Only the Eagles knew that it was incomplete. That's why they snapped the ball immediately. Maybe someday there will be a way to overturn a bogus play like that.
Every damn time the 49ers lose in the playoffs or Superbowl it fits the narrative

Shanny quote says the replay was never shown. Chalk it up to home field advantage.
Tough and frustrating but there's not much you can do when your QB goes down so early like that. Can quibble about the protection strategy but it was just bad luck. The defense played extremely well, all things considered. Unreasonable to expect anything out of Johnson, a guy called up weeks ago with limited ability, to lead a team in a NFC title game. Oh well.

Plays should get an automatic review. Makes the game a little longer but it gets called right.

Hufuanga was staring right at it and didn't say anything. tough to see in real time but the expectation is that you have all eyes on it in the New York office since it is the only game going.

I never said any of those things. If you can't see how losing Brock Purdy changed the entire game for Philly, I don't know what to tell you.
Something fishy about that 4th down play.
Obviously the footage was available
Why was it not made available to the people who need to make the challenge calls down to Kyle immediately?

49ers organisation need to make some noise about that

If it's not possible to make all angles legitimately available immediately then teams have to be stopped running a quick play off long completions like that till all angles have been checked.

Not using this one incident as the reason we lost but it was part of the clusterf**k
