Yes, the chances were slim to none. Generating sacks is one thing, but injuring two QBs in the same game, the 3rd and 4th season ending injuries overall is highly improbable. Especially against a team who had basically zero injuries all year long.

Seriously, when Jimmy went down after Trey, you already knew it wasn't that slim of a chance.

I wouldn't even count Johnson anyway because he probably wouldn't have done much.

Anytime a QB gets sacked, there is always a chance he gets injured. Look no further, Jalen Hurts, the man himself, his shoulder was injured by a sack.

Then, you factor in the best D-line in the league with 70 sacks? They already told you they were going to do exactly that. They sacked Daniel Jones 5 times the week before. What exactly were you expecting? What was the big surprise there?

May be I didn't predict Brock would hurt his elbow specifically. But, like I said, you sack a QB enough times, he will get hurt, whether is elbow or any other parts of his body or even concussion.

This wasn't the Superbowl
Season is over…. I have no interest in this Super Bowl, I'd like both teams to lose.

I'll start looking at the draft now…… Looks like we will be looking for a new DC again.

still numb to think we went through 4 QB's this year….Maybe it's time to make our O line a priority.

What a sad end to a great season!
Lol and I am still sad over this, dam 😢 it's the big games with injuries that get me. Talk about a wonderful season then boom. Shouldn't have ended like that.

They invest so much in the d line it's time to do the same with the o line

Did Phily invest more in their dline?
Screw Goddell, he hosed us on 2 SBs. Btw what time is the HT Show.
If Eagles Coach wasn't such a douche I may root for them vs the Chiefs but this Clown HC doesn't deserve to win the SB.

Oline is crucial but its more about cohesion .... Kinlaw got absolutely embassaressed, we need a true 1/3 tech that can push the pocket and stop the run, Kinlaw is not that and its holding our run D back.

I would say both the O and D lines.

That is essentially what Howie Roseman did, he just focused on the trenches on both sides of the ball.

The guy was so aggressive. He means business. When the Eagles started rolling earlier on in the season, he probably knew they would go deep in the playoffs, so he still wanted to improve on their D-line. He traded for Robert Quinn, even then he wasn't satisfied, he went out to sign Suh to bolster the interior of their line which John Lynch lost out to.

Problem is we are still suffering from blowing all our draft capital on drafting Lance. We still don't have a single 1st round pick. The cap situation probably isn't great neither.

The road ahead is not going to be easy.
As much as I want Mahomes and Reid to win, I think the Eagles will steamroll them if both play like they did today.

We're not suffering from not having a 1st round pick in last year's draft and obviously we don't have one this year but I'd still give up those other picks for McCaffrey any and everyday.

Cap situation is fine going forward, even with Bosa's upcoming $150M deal.
Now that some hours have passed and the sadness has stopped. I'm incredibly happy with how this season went. Made it to the top 4 with a 3rd strong rookie QB. Magnitude of injuries on the team all year with key players out. There isn't another team in the league that could do that. I'm proud of the dudes even KS lol. I hope we keep this window open. They really need to rework this OL. I pray MM isn't back. Ryan's is going to be a huge loss especially with Fang out now. It will be interesting to see what happens there.

Also yeah I really HATE the Eagles. The way they were acting all tough and arrogant and celebrating tackle after tackle when everyone in the world literally knew we were running every play. That rubbed me the wrong way. The coach is a douchebag. The city sucks and their fans are worse than Seattle.

I hope KC and Mahomes absolutely destroys them. I know KC took a SB from us but honestly they play football right. They don't play dirty, don't act tough like Phili and Reid is a good dude to root for.

Also yeah I was completely wrong. Philly is not some scary juggernaut. They were very unimpressive today. Especially hurts.

Agree with everything you said. You could combine Walsh, Landry, Lombardi, Belicheck, and Reid into one coach and they still would've been blown out in this game.

I really hope they don't extend McGlinchey. Burford has shown flashes of being a very good player for us but will need some real competition and I'd like to see him compete at RT as well.
