No it didn't. The outcome of the play changed the game. What's going on here is we've put one thing under the microscope due to an unfavorable outcome of the play for us (our QB gets injured early).
That same play could happen with a non-injury sack or tipped ball, we win, and no one here really gives a damn about the play.
Only because our QB couldnt throw afterwards doesn't it suddenly somehow become "the worst playcall ever,"....which makes no sense whatsoever.

Just watched some snippets on the Kelce Podcast regarding the Eagles vs 49ers game and I gained some respect from Jason Kelce. He said on the podcast that once they knew the 49ers couldn't throw any more the game was over but he felt bad because it wasn't fair. I thought their whole team and fan base had no clue or class but maybe some do.
