I was 'London dude' for the Mexico game! Was expecting to meet others, but only met US and Mexican fans the whole week, which was fine by me because everybody wanted to buy me a cerveza!

They will want to try to rattle our rookie QB right off the bat in this game to try an throw him off. So theyl probly be sending extra pass rushers in the first quarter. Shanny needs to have a plan for this to get the ball out quick to one of our weapons who knows how to make them pay for that.

The pressure is on Hurts after his coach calling him the Michael Jordan of football. Brock can always claim to be the last player in the draft and a rookie. Hurts is Michael Jordan. Let's see.

basically the biggest game in club history
These teams match up so evenly that it's not surprising that the team with the best record playing at home is only a 2.5 point favorite. Like somamy game matchung 2 good treams it often comes down to the line play. Both have good D and O lines. Which one will win out? I don't know but if both play up to their potential this could be a real lowscoring close game.

However, these games often have some unexpected developments. An INT or fumble at a key tome. A TD that gets called back because of a penalty. These are the type of games that often have the fans from the losing team grumbling for weeks afterward about what could have been or blaming this guy or that guy. The losers rarely just accept the fact that they got outplayed. They have to blame someone.

I can't guarantee a 49er win. That's how tough this matchup is going to be. I'll say though, if we do defeat Philly, and we defeat them unscathed, I think we finally win #6 baby.

We can only hope for the best outcome which is a niners win.

2 things concern me is Hurts running and if they start throwing screens.

Ran into someone wearing a 49ers hoodie in the airport in Hannover, Germany right now. Pretty remarkable considering there are probably less than 20 people waiting for a flight in this terminal right now. Must be a good sign. Go 9ers!

Not comparing Hurts to Mahomes. The issues lie in the 9ers' D glaring weaknesses in defending the deep ball outside of the numbers plus running QBs. Worse still is their totally dominant D-line, poor Purdy will get drilled. I think we could probably score between 17-20. But, I can see them scoring mid-30s.

Personally, I think the eagles are good but overrated and haven't been punched in the mouth by a good team this year (besides the cowboys but there were injuries). So I'm excited to see how we do against this so called historic defense. I also think the mark of a great team is one that can win when injuries mount up AKA great coaching. When hurts went down, eagles were absolute crap. He's still injured and going up against us, very physical and violent - we attack who ever has the ball.

i also think hurts shoulder is going to be a MAJOR factor in this game. Couple that with lane Johnson's abdominal tear (very painful to play with) and he's going up against DPOY.

Purdy is super competitive. Losing to hurts in college is a problem for him and I expect he will want revenge.

we are going to blow open this game with a 14-0 lead and the final score will be 31-17 Niners! It'll be a close game until we score a nail in the coffin TD to lock it up!
