The lack of discipline for us having all those penalties

It wasn't so much that we got our asses kicked... and in SUCH of a disadvantage with missing our QBs... if that is all that happened, fine... BUT what really pisses me off is the Refs... we are already dealing with hella s**t...our defense are playing their asses off.

Like is this the year where the NFL is going to officiate Playoff games like regular season games going forward? Or did they just feel like screwing us the away teams these games today.

Most of those penalties would have never been called in past playoff games. And I bet if someone rewatched all the Eagles defensive plays, they were doing the same s**t here and there....but just no calls.

I can't believe that one drive where they just kept at it.

I know some are just going to say "play by the rules! Don't pull, tug, etc" but na it's the same s**t most teams do through out a game. It's hard to play perfect clean defense, when the offense gets so much leeway as it is.

Edit- I'm not counting Huff's push out of bounds, which is obvious to see... just the little things where refs choose to ignore usually.

I agree 100%. Also check this link out. The expedited review is supposed to have ALL the angles immediately. How can they NOT stop the game for that D. Smith "catch" to review? The ticky tack s**t was insane. In the SB against the Chiefs they were allowed to mug our WRs and no calls. Also ZERO holding called on the Eagles O line. There was a massive hold on the 2nd and 3rd running touchdowns in the 1st half.

Agreed. That was some BS officiating. Like I get it you guys really want philly in the SB, but you really didn't need to do all that after our QBs go down. At least let us make it competitive.

The one that blew my mind was the hands to the face. Like yeah, there was hands to the face, but oline man was also had two fists full of jersey. Hey ref, you're obviously focused on those two linemen, but you can't see the obvious hold?

Eh, that's a defense trying too hard to make something happen when they know the offense is going nowhere with Johnson.

The team should have invested in a quality backup midway through the season. Josh Johnson is way past his playing days. Too bad Jimmy G was not ready.

Once the defense realized they had to win the game, they did everything they could. Not really their fault given the no-win situation.

There are no quality backups available mid season. If there were, Dolphins, Rams, Steelers and another dozen teams would have been in a bidding war for them.

cmCam Newton and. Kap both would've been better than Johnson. Dude couldn't even take a snap without fumbling and made no effort at all when he fumbled. Dude is pathetic

Since neither will ever play again it will be hard to ever know.

I wonder if the league will change the rule because of what happened to the Niners in this game. Allowing a team to carry an emergency QB and not have it count towards a roster spot.
