This game was winnable but Atleast it wasn't a heart breaking game. Glad Purdy played well all season and hope he can start next season

It was heart breaking. We lost our QB on the first drive of the game. Then, lost our backup not long after. We lost our horse in the race and our chance for #6, just a shame.

Well let's be real, the game was over when Purdy went down. We were not the gonna come back being down 7 with JJ running the show. He was getting called for delay of games and that fumble, like he never played QB before.

Yeah, we still had a chance to cut into the lead going into the half. That fumble f**king pissed me off.

Yeah, coming out of half only down by 7 was a tall task but not as much as being down 14

Or as i like to call it go the the movies super bowl sunday
Yeah this hurt worse than the Ravens SB for me just dam..total ❤️ breaker
While I always want the 49ers to win, second most important thing is to see a good game of football. This s**t was over (Brock injury) before I finished my first drink. Weak.

Another ring lost. That I had to witness
1. PI on Lott vs Skins
2. Craig Fumble vs Giants
3. Slant to Harper vs Cowboys
4. Williams fumble in OT vs Giants
5. Kap to Crabtree vs Ravens
6. Kap to Crabtree vs Seahawks
7. Jimmy G misses Sanders vs Chiefs
8. Tart drops Pick vs Rams
Now this. As much as I loved seeing the 5 super bowls we could of been the Yankess of the NFL in terms of Championships

This is the NFCCG loss that pained me the most.

The two to the Giants probably hurt the most. The Craig fumble because of the first the 3peat was going to make us historic. And the Williams fumble because that was one of favorite niner teams of all time. Alex Smith, Frank Gore and Patrick Willis climbing the mountain after being terrible for so long was going to be so sweet.

The worst part? We never had a chance once our qb3 went down

We had a chance if would could have run the ball and played defense. But, too many penalities kept their drives alive and we could never get the ball back to get back in the game.

Mayo, you're the man, but your so wrong. The game was over once Brock went down. What fn team is gonna win a conference championship game on the road with their 4th string qb, then even he goes down?!?! Gtfo

For real?? I'm not even mad anymore. Purdy getting hurt early gave my emotions an easy out.

I think we are going to continue to be in the mix for Super Bowl the next 3-5 years, but the worst part of the loss for me is that we are almost assured to lose DeMeco. Knowing this I felt there was a ton of urgency to get it done this year, as our D will have at least some level of transition that they have to work though.

Yeah, talent wise, but we aren't going to be able to keep this roster together with all the guys that are going to have to be paid.
That makes this loss so much worse. This was the year to get it done.

Most of the team will likely be back. If we take a hit anywhere it would probably be no McGlinchey, possibly no Jm Ward, and depth wise.

Truth.
Worst part about this loss is that I knew it was over so early in the game. Guess that was also a blessing so I was able to accept it even before the game was over.
This one only stung cause of our qb situation. Like no one played bad it was just not in our cards.
People complain about our injuries a lot, and I usually think it's embellished or outright biased, but the circumstances in this game were nuts. Not just Purdy going out, but Johnson going out with a concussion, and Garoppolo being close-but-not-ready was a pretty ridiculous string of bad fortune. I mean, they for all intents and purposes played 2.5 quarters of this game without a quarterback.
this feels more like the feeling i had when bosa and jimmy were out for the year than the feeling i had with any of our past playoff losses
