I don't wan't Brady or Rogers. They don't have a legacy here. AR coming to the 49ers is impossible anyways

Legacies was the thing of the 80s/90s. No one cares about the Michael Jordans of the world taking a lowly franchise and making it into a dynasty. Now fans wants instant gratification. Lebron has rings with what…3 teams now. I doubt any of those fans are complaining about legacy.

this team is built to win now. We need to find the best quarterback to do the job, and I'm sorry if it hurts the fans if Trey Lance, but Brady is the best possible choice for No 6. And IMO he should be backed up by Brock Purdy not Trey Lance.

If Brady decides to come back for one more year, for what reason? It isn't for the money because he could make so much more in the booth. It's for his legacy and winning another ship. What other Super Bowl contender, besides the Niners, upgrades by signing Tom Brady under center? Answer - no one. And this isn't even factoring in the hometown ties. Brady to Niners is going to happen, it just makes too much sense on so many levels.

Colin Cowherd just said that he heard from an executive that the Niners will trade Lance and sign Brady.

Why would they do that? They don't have to trade Lance to sign Brady, and for the millionth time, a team that suffers this many injuries at the position needs MORE QBs, not less.

I'm not on the trade TL wagon, however they have had TL in the building for years. They have a lot more info on him now as to who he is than they did on draft day. If they like him still they will keep him.

I hope that's exactly what happens. Give Brady two years. Groom Brock and let him learn. Give the reigns to Brock for the next 15 years after Brady retires. It's the best short and long term solution for this franchise.

Trey can have his own team in Tennessee
Drafting durable players sounds great but how do you know if they're durable? Even if they weren't injured in college, that's no guarantee that they will stay healthy in the NFL Bigger, faster players. More games. More practice. More injuries.
-bring in Brady on a one year cheap rental, he's single now and has a lot of time on his hands
-Brockstar can sit and learn behind the master for 1 year while he fully recovers
-trade TL for whatever we can get and cut our losses
-hoist the Lombardi in 2024 and say goodbye to Tom goat
Brady is not going to be cheap so we won't sign him. We are not going to shell out 30M.

Yeah.
It's too early to speculate about the QB position. But whatever it is, they just can't hand the job to anyone, even veterans they bring in or other QBs they may draft. Let whatever QB earn his starting role.

My guess is that came from Mike Sando

We won't. And he won't ask for 30M. I bet he's willing to come in the 20-22M range on a two year rental. That gives plenty of time to win one or two rings then hands the reigns to Brock.

I'd personally like to keep both Lance and Purdy all while signing Brady. Let them sit behind the GOAT for a year or 2 max. They are both in their early 20s, they have years to go forth and be QB1. Next year imo we need to go all in. Not saying signing Brady guarantees that but it is probably the closest we can get to a guarantee of winning #6. Tired of falling short.
