They should be drafting QB and OT every single year. Keep them inactive if you have to. You have to be three deep or four deep in order to win here

His QB's do get hurt a lot. System doesn't prioritize protecting QB's.

In 2-3 years you're unlikely to have any of the current weapons left in their prime. Kitten will be 30 next season, Deebo 27, McCaffrey 27, Trent Williams is already talking about retirement.

IMO, you give Lance one season where he needs to show significant improvement and a strong indication that he can be the guy for this team and if by the end of the season, he doesn't seen to have improved much, if at all, you cut your losses and move on.

I don't think you need to cut your loses and move on even if he plays this entire season and doesn't improve or show flashes. I think QBs can take a big jump in the following offseason after getting a lot of playing time the previous year.

Playing time is crucial bc it helps you truly understand what you need to work on in the offseason. I'd def keep him for next 2 seasons and see his progress from this summer and season to next TC.

Now I do believe he's gonna improve bc he showed improvement from start 1 against Arizona to Start 2 against Texans. If he had 10+ games under his belt - I think we will see significant improvement from game 1 to 10.

He's 22 years old. If he started today - he'd be the youngest starting QB in the league. Imo makes no sense to cut your losses with a 23 year old QB after only giving him less than 20 starts.
