His QB's do get hurt a lot. System doesn't prioritize protecting QB's.

LOL...

SCRUB Head Coach who doesn't prioritize protecting QB's. He likes to get his QB's killed.

Tweet is kind of useless without context, such as what the injuries were and how many games were missed by the relevant QBs. For example, in Houston in 2009 where he had 2 'unique QB injuries', Matt Schaub started all 16 games for the Texans. Rex Grossman was the backup and had 9 passes on the season (in a game Schaub couldn't finish.)

The numbers are also off. In 2017, CJ Beathard was injured in what became Jimmy G's first appearance with the 49ers.
We all talk about the amount of injuries our QB's suffer under Kyle's regime but does anybody talk about how amazing it is that this team has gotten to 3 NFC championship games and 1 SB in 3 of the last 4 years despite all the injuries at the most important position. If Chiefs ever lose Mahomes they are not making it to the AFC championship. The same goes for Bills if they lose Allen, Bengals if they lose Burrow. etc etc. This team is special in that regard. Every other elite team are done if they lose their starting QB.

Stick with Trey and Brock and get a vet FA or draft pick.

Should draft another late RD QB to stick on the PS.

Facts also in 2015 Matt Ryan missed zero games. Whoever made this list seems to be all over the place with it. It also doesn't say if this is counting just the starter or backups as well and if this caused any missed games. If we are including minor injuries…EVERY QB In the league has a "unique injury" practically every other week.
I do agree Kyle could have done a better job in 2022 protecting his QBs. BUT…I also feel this narrative that Kyle gets all his QBs hurt every year is kinda bogus. I mean you just have to consider context. Prior to joining the Niners in 2017 Kyle really never had many issues with injuries aside from RG3. Matt Schaub and Matt Ryan were pretty damn healthy and had their best single season years under Kyle. Jimmy G came to SF already considered to be somewhat fragile having just sustained a bad shoulder injury the year before he was traded to SF. He couldn't make it through 2 games in NE without getting seriously injured. Jimmy had that terrible ACL injury in 2018 by foolishly trying to remain in bounds for another half yard or so. So Jimmy G and his fragile self aside this is the first year in SF where Kyle can be questioned.

Bahahaha what a useless tweet. Facts are there's a reason why there are only so many elite level QBs and guys that are HOFers. They were able to stay healthy for the majority of their career.

so much substance goes into every single injury and "why" it happened. Lumping it into one thing and saying that's why is extremely dumb imo.

The narrative will be Jimmy was "forced" to run because the PBLK wasn't great on that particular play lol. then it will be Kyle makes his player get every yard or some stupid make believe theory.

it's no different then saying the earth is flat and providing confirmation bias points and loose ideas to make up a narrative.

the reality of it is guys get hurt across the league. How many QB played this yr? A f**k ton. It's due to a plethora of stuff. There is no "root" of the problem.

Yeah, I don't understand that list either hence the LOL...

"...unique QB injuries"

2015 should be 0 for sure unless he showed up on an injury report but still was able to play? Is that what he was trying to capture? There was one year Jimmy was on I.R. twice in one season...how do you count that if it's the same injury?

Either way, looks like Kyle's just been very unlucky. LOL.
.
I remember reading once, I think it was Ron Wolf who said you should draft a Qb every year. I look at the scrubs drafted in the last few rounds every year and think, why not always take a qb in the 5-7th rounds? Obviously you can point to Brady or Purdy as examples but when I hear that a guy like Bennett might even go undrafted it boggles my mind.
