OK. How do you fit his $59M contract into the budget? ...and then there is the net $10M in dead money we would have.

I get it. You aren't being serious. I just wanted to throw out some numbers.
I don't think they can change the 10m but can't they redo contract if rodgers agrees ? idk
It's being reported by Maiocco that this is Purdy's team in the locker room, period. It jives with what we saw with O lineman running off the field not helping Trey up at times. Next year won't go well if Purdy is out

Local media are all clowns and vultures they sow discord to fabricate stories, like Cohn. I don't buy it.

I think I could pull that Trade in Madden though...

Cohn is an outlier. Maiocco is a homer but honest.

Lol no one knows anything, it's freaking February. Brock played a couple games and might be out for a year all said a done.

gotta love the horrible made up narratives by the lance hater club. Truly special stuff. Let's see what else we can makeup this off season.

He's not always right and it's February

probably i just can't stand how they dog our guys. I mean imagine TL reading that. no point to putting that out there unless you are trying to stir the pot.

With $59M owing in guarantees, AR would have to agree to give up the major portion of it unless he agreed to an extension that spread it out over several years. If he were 35, and we didn't have two young QBs, one already proving he can win, I might think about it. As of now, I can't see a way to bring Rodgers here short of him agreeing to tear up his contract, which he won't do.

Not interested in Rodgers and as others have said he's not being traded here, but I was reading an OTC article about Rodgers contract that said any team that trades for him can reduce his cap hit to 15 and 32mil over the first two years.

After that you're taking huge cap hits and Rodgers isn't on your team while doing it most likely, but it still seems possible cap wise for any team interested in the short term.

Maiocco is legit IMO, he is a homer but he has to be so that the players will talk to him Lol

What he says reflects what I have perceived is that Bick Cock Brock is a natural leader and the team rallies behind him... Lance seems aloof, not much of a leader far as I can see, I don't see guys respond to him like they do to Brock
