I don't think Kyle and John as pure football guys would be concerned with this but Paraag might. Groom a minority that's qualified for DC to help you both short term and long term as far as winning now and future draft picks if he becomes a HC

I believe Fangio would be expected to keep things similar to Demeco (Kyles words) and keep some of the coaches for continuity and Fangio likely said no and instead took the MIA job which I'm sure pays him well with more control and freedom to
bring in whatever staff he wanted top to bottom

Why not? Everyone that comes here gets a head coaching gig or a higher paying gig within a couple years.

EXACTLY! there is your answer to why.
so i guess let me rephrase my post more accurately:

Coaches an coordinators that want to win a SB do not wanna come here.(soon it will be players too). Coaches that just want more experience and another step up towards another promotion may be very keen to coming here. an continuing our cycle.

so what should 49er fans care about more. winning a SB or providing assistants around the league with job promotions. idk about you guys but im here for a SB, a random coaches career promotions mean ZERO to the san francisco 49ers and our history. too many fans are looking at our team as a coaching school an not an NFL franchise that wants to bring home a 6th trophy.

dumb post is contradicting itself .. wants to win a SB, but wants to get rid of a coach who can get to a SB or gets to one game away from a SB ... hilarious

The current Browns DC?
No later than next Wed will a DC be named. I'm pretty sure after the Wilks interview they will talk on Tuesday and we'll here something by Wed.

You're last paragraph I believe correct. When I first heard Kyle's end of season closer and talking DC I was very surprised (maybe I shouldn't be) by his comments that he wants the new hire to run things close as they are. I understand that, but it sounds a little micro manager. I'm sure Vic could do that but maybe with small twists. It sounds Kyle wants a Saleh/Demeco puppet.

Vic is a defensive guru. Kyle offense. I think the control freak should have released a little control and see where it goes.

Really hoping we can poach the Broncos DC. Not the biggest fan of Wilks as DC, but he'd be good as a DBs coach/Asst. HC role.
