I think Moody will be OK. At least wait for the regular season guys. His leg will heal up. Rest is best for the last preseason game.

Why wait until regular season to point out issues at a position, issues that were created voluntarily out of thin air on a win-now team?

So what? He has a pulled muscle. Man you guys panic too much. He will be fine game 1. He will play well.

While I completely agree...usually, he seems to be kinda soft/pudgy. I worry about his off season training and conditioning.

I know he's just a kicker, but no reason to not keep yourself in top shape...y'know...be the best you can be and all that...

He's stocky and strong. Which makes him be able to hit those 60 yarders. That's what makes him elite leg strength. Assuming he can be more consistent and stay healthy.
Kermit should have a blur there..that is too much for me lol
I actually wouldn't be surprised if they have to PUP/IR/outright cut Moody and go back to Gould for a 1 year deal worth a ton of ca$h, with Moody then becoming a perennial Pro Bowl kicker for whichever other team benefits from the sucky immediate circumstance.

We really don't even have the cap room to sign gould. Lol literally don't even have enough money to pay practice squad right now. We are desperately counting on Bosa's extension to give us a few mil
IR so they don't have to cut him

I believe we have 9 million or so and after Bosas extension we will have 16 or 17 million. We're good to sign him if we really wanted to
Not sure why Moody can kick well on the practice field but not in stadiums.

No because right now the salary cap reflects the top 51. Once cut down day happen on Monday or Tuesday of next week, the salary cap configuration changes. We have to pay all 53, including the practice squad and some other stuff. That eats up what we have right now.

if I'm not mistaken, If we don't have bosa signed by then, we will technically be over the cap. Need his extension to lower his cap hit to create room for us. That'll give us like 7-8M or so.

then you need that room to sign players through it the season if injuries happen. Things of that nature. Robbie wants like $3.5-$5M. I don't see us doing that

Especially when there was no wind in Las Vegas.......or did I miss something??
Lynch gonna have to keep a list of PK going into the season. Sign each down the list on a per game basis. I have no faith in Moody.
