Do we have a limited number of spots for IR ? If so who ever wasted a spot for a kicker ?

The problem is that his leg strength was vanishing rapidly. Can't kickoff and his range was shrinking for field goals. Moving off of Gould a year early was the better call than waiting for him to completely fall apart physically.
I would have preferred another veteran instead of drafting a rookie kicker though.

What he needs to do is learn to stretch and study field conditions like Gould. That's probably asking too much. He's all physical ability and no brains and professionalism. He's a Harbaugh boy. LOL
