Not justified @ all from a realistic perspective. Simply fans being.....fans.
Even Gould himself was signed and waived from the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens, before he finally got his big break with the Chicago Bears.
He wasn't some instant success or anything. Things take some time most times.
