Outside of one kickoff out of bounds, dude has been good. He was a huge reason we won today. 57 yard kicks are not easy.

This. Wow, as a rookie that kick brought my confidence level in him to 95%. Long season, but I am nowhere near as worried as I was during preseason.

Last thing to prove is game winner with an expiring clock.
already did that

Preseason doesn't count.

Last thing last thing to prove is to kick well in an elimination game.

for some reason they counted when he missed
Perfect thus far this season on both FGs and Extra Points.

It does work like that for a rookie that hasn't prove anything. For a veteran who has a solid career in the NFL perhaps that count less.

Perfect except for the kickoff.
57 yarder becoming a weapon maybe

True, but he made up for it with the 57 yard FG.

That penalty in kickoff was weird and annoying, gave them rams great field position (i think to the 45?) that was really bad on his part but he did a lot of other positive things.
100 % accuracy in FGs and PATs so far. Can't complain. Hope its like this the rest of his career.
he has a huge leg you can see why he was picked 3rd round ( I think a few other teams wanted him too I forgot who reportedly also wanted him)

he has the leg to kick it like 65+ yards

agree, it was a great pick. Special teams needed an infusion after Gould was gold, but his kickoffs were tailing off tremendously. Love Gould, but man I'm stoked we got this Moody guy. He has an awesome leg. Kicked a 57+ yarder last game I think. Wow!

Agree, touchback almost 100% of the time when Moody does kickoffs - I think Gould was in the 70+ range (or it felt something like that) our special teams always seemed to have to tackle when Gould kicked off in the past. Still love Gould, won us a ton of games, but Moody looks to be another Gould 2.0 in terms of accuracy also.
Good job on making the 57 yarder

I told you guys! I wanted us to draft him and I didn't care it was a third rounder - he's going to be a complete stud for us for a long time. That 57 yarder looked easy. He still had a lot left on his leg too.

Agree, if he keeps playing that way, he'll be with the 49ers for another 20+ years. Gould was age 40 (or so) for the last game he played for the 49ers.
