How confident would kyle be if Moody doesn't have another game winning FG attempt until in the playoff?

I mean, Gould was getting shaky lately, too. Missed the end of regulation FG against Raiders last year, for example.

I agree, Gould is not an option right now, his range is below the 20 yard line, in a sense. His leg is weaker now than ever before. I don't think anybody has picked him up as a kicker. Stay with Moody for now, in my opinion, but start lining up potential replacements if you need them in the playoffs.

I doubt it was the wet field, but moreso the wind.

Bad snap

s**tty hold
The team's strategy since freakin' Nolan was to sign old veteran kickers like Nedney. For some reason, this year, they decided to s**t on that essentially full proof strategy and go with a rookie. He'll cost the niners in the playoffs unless they're up big, no question.
Every kicker goes through their lows. Even Gould before he was more consistent with the Niners, was missing some with the Bears. Question is, how long do we stay with Moody.

not just any kicks, but game winners... which is why he didn't return to the Bears.
Imagine If we're In the same situation come playoff time, expecting Moody to kick a last second field goal to win the game
Yes no kickers are perfect, but Gould was perfect in the playoffs, 29 out of 29 FGs and 39 out of 39 XP.

to be fair no one is paying a kicker who can only hit 50 and under FGs 5 million.
I actually didn't see the kick.. Had to look away cause rookie kicker ....
Was 9 of 9 before today.

Robbie Gould missed 6 of his 27 kicks his rookie year. Relax a bit and give the kid a chance.

I'll take it as everyone misses a big one. Better now than later. Hopefully a learning experience.
Relax yall. Young guy. He'll be alright.
