He looked like he was about to cry in the post game interview. Even started repeating himself lol.

Hopefully he's not already broken.

Those were his first misses in 6 games. Do you expect him to be perfect all year. I don't know if the wet field had anything to do with it but he had the distance. One just hooked left and the other pushed right. Just like golfers they occasionally hit it bad.

How confident would kyle be if Moody doesn't have another game winning FG attempt until in the playoff?

Only 7 kickers were perfect heading into today's action. Moody was one of them. Kickers miss sometimes. It's a shame tht today could have won the game but if the offense had played better they wouldn't have been in that position. Do we replace the entire offense?

Robbie Gould missed 6 of his 27 kicks his rookie year. Relax a bit and give the kid a chance.

I'll take it as everyone misses a big one. Better now than later. Hopefully a learning experience.

Looks like icing the kicker works on Moody. Don't know if you can simulate that in practice. But that concerns me because it's an in game situation thing. Gould was money in the playoffs, won a ton of playoff games because of Robbie. I don't trust Moody right now to pull us through in the playoffs - to tell you the truth.
100% would rather have Robbie right now. This is a Super Bowl roster. We are putting close games in the hands of a rookie kicker.

NFCCG 4th Down 41 yards out to go to the Super Bowl and we are putting it in the hands of a rookie.

This isn't the only big kick that this kid is going to miss.

Who would trust a rookie kicker? That's ok to not trust him. Doesn't mean he's not a great option as the season goes on. The staff sees him every day and they trust him. That's good enough for me.

The conditions weren't favorable for Purdy either,...another young guy. And he wasn't at his best as well.

I never expected us to go 17-0...lol.

We're super bowl contenders, though. We can't be having our kicker miss crucial kicks like that

Miss a 54 yard FG sure that happens... Missing a 41 yard FG straight on, to win the game... That cant happen.

Oh damn

He should cry. He's a FG kicker that got drafted... and drafted high at that. Missing a 41 yard FG is unacceptable. 50+ I can deal with but 41 yarder? Bad news
Moody has that look like he's terrified of the moment. I just had a sickening feeling he was gonna miss

Yep totally agree. You can't practice that situation ever.

Robbie would have made that kick 100%. Everyone knows it to.

This isin't the Super Bowl, though. We can't have our offense or defense looking like that either but we're barely a third of the way today. Avoid pressing the panic button (if you can).
