I can't believe the negativity on this site when the Niners lose. It's worse than the grandiose statements about going undefeated or being the best offense ever when they're winning. Purdy can have a terrible game and the O line can struggle all day but the kicker is supposed to be perfect. I wish that was the real world but it's not.

Whole offense had a bad game. Not just him. Stuff happens. He'll learn from it.

Still, I did hate the pick in the third. Not the only draft move by the Niners I've disliked. But you have to give it time before we judge.

I thought the kick was gonna turn back to the left, but it made a hard right at the end.

Kyle should of made it easier for the kid by getting it closer.

Unfortunately the only way for him to get better at pressure kicks is to kick pressure kicks. So we'll see if he learns from this but this was gonna happen eventually.
Doesn't matter if he's a vet or not the chance of missing GW FGs is always there.

Here's the deal. You don't fix what isn't broken. Made no sense to not sign Robbie and draft a young kicker. You make those decisions if and when Robbie decides to retire. Not when he's been clutch for you for many years.

What makes you think the same type of scenario doesn't play out in the playoffs ? You guys gonna feel comfortable giving Moody the chance to win it in the clutch ? Hells no
