He's still young, but kickers usually don't "develop" much. It's the clutch that matters. Not going to put this all on Moody but this is concerning. We are in a superbowl window and we let go of a verified clutch kicker in Gould. What if this was a playoff game and our season ended?

I'd be legit concerned that someone would try to murder him, TBH.

This is just common sense.
This is on K/L and their genius 3rd rounder move

Meanwhile the Oline is soft as jelly. Probably could have had Moody in the later rounds too. Nobody picking a kicker close to that high.

Moody was taken at pick no 99, New England took Chad Ryland at pick 112 (13 picks later).

If Moody was there at 112, New England probably takes him.

Other than the Eagles losing today, this tweet is the only thing that makes me feel better.
I don't give a s**t what anyone says. I said it then and will say it now. When you're a Title contender, you don't roll with a rookie kicker when you have Robbie f**king automatic Gould available. Who here feels more comfortable with Moody than Gould if the Playoffs started next week?
Last game he gets to miss multiple kicks and a game winner

You don't have to say it much. There isn't one person on this entire forum that wants to see a playoff game come down to Jake Moody's leg.

FORGET Solid Gould... we signed a veteran PK as a FA, then drafted one on the 3rd..

The season very well may come down to his kicks. In tight playoff games and end of the season games FGs are important.
1 - How much money are they saving with Moody vs Gould?
2 - What are they doing with that money?

I really am looking for someone to convince me this was a good move. Once playoff games start, too late.

LETS BE REAL... Jake " he looks so " Moody ain't going anywhere... but reall, w/a rookie PK, we should not be counting on him... we had one time out and I personally thought that we should have run the ball one more time because BABY BEAST MODE looked good running the ball..
