Win win situation... you don't have an egg on your face for releasing a young kicker that you used a 3rd on, too soon... and he can come back next after we finally get a Super Bowl with this core of players.

LMAO at pretending Purdy didn't lead a game winning drive. But you are correct, he should have scored a TD to keep doody as FAR away as possible from being in a pressure position where he could s**t the bed and let the other 52 down.

Team didn't do him any favors by not trying to get closer in the final seconds. They had a timeout left.

The Bills kicker missed 2 FGs last night and both drifted left by about the same margin as Moody's kick. He was 24 for 24 before that. Those misses allowed the Giants to get in position to win the game. If they had been more competent I'm guessing Bills fans would be crucifying their kicker.

When games come down to the kicker it also means the offense wasn't very good. Before yesterday the offense was scoring 30 or more every week The offense was terrible yesterday. I don't care that Brock was able to move down the field on that last drive. That was party because the Browns were dropping off to prevent a big play allowing him to hit the short stuff. Good for him but he was missing throws all over the field for the first 58 minutes.

So yes Moody missed a game winning kick but there were several opportunities to put up more points that could have won the game too. It's not the first and won't be the last time a kicker misses a FG. The Browns kicker made almost the same kick earlier. The difference was his hooked back to the left and went through. Moody's stayed left. I pretty sure he was expecting it to hook back to the left but it didn't
