Those ones were the only ones Moody missed..unless you count the preseason, which was dismal. "Robbie missed one in Vegas, 41 yards.. it's a dome", so did Moods..missed two in Vegas, a longer one then missed a 40 yarder. I don't care what Robbie's stats were as a rookie, eons ago when he was on the Bears or whatever..what matters is now, we really need a vet kicker imo. Of course, teammates were going to have his back. What were they gunna say, "Jake, you have the form of a squishmallow, tough luck kid"? Lol. He just needs more reps, like Lance I suppose. Let's FAAFO 😆 lol

It seems like we never get over thefact that football is the ultimate team game. It's not like baseball where a hot hitter can go 5 for 5 with 2 or 3 HRs and 6 RBIs and win the game. Not like basketball where a shooter can score 50 and win the game.The best QBs need receivers and blocking. The RBs need blocking. The offense needs the D to get stops. Kickers need the offense to put them in position.

No single player wins or loses a football game.

Why does he deserve more reps when Lance didn't? All I read in this forum for the entirety of Trey's career here were debates about him needing reps vs being a win now team that couldn't afford to lose games while giving him those reps. Both were drafted WAY higher than they should have been, so why does Moody get a pass while Trey gets the boot?

Why don't we hire Robbie is a consultant? Help get this kid in the right mindset. Robbie was so even keel.

i get it we loved RG.. but he wasn't always perfect

I must have missed that, how did he look and what does that say? Here's my stance: the next time he has the chance to win or lose the game for this team should be a make or break moment. It will have more pressure with this choke still rattling around in his head, and if he responds it will tell me there may still be hope. If not, we'll read about him having some injury, and Robbie or another kicker will be signed.
