Jake Moody-K-Michigan 3rd Round 2023 Draft

He needs to be gone.

Jake Moody has the fewest amount of field goals made of any kicker in the NFL this season that has played 16 games, other than Joey Slye who is on Washington.

He's got no real practice; has no been tested; and the few times he has, he's failed miserably. You want him kicking a 33 yarder in the rain or hell, in bright blue skies? Or in the Super Bowl? Absolutely not. He's broken. They have to move on from him or they are guaranteed to fail if he's put in that spot. The more he misses those, the more of a liability he is.

It was always dumb to have a rookie kicker on this roster. I never understood the move, let alone, the price tag.

OMG please keep the 3rd round picks away from Kyle from now on and give them to Peters.

Jersey is right. There is NO way they are going to replace Moody.

Maher is even worse than he is…was garbage for Dallas last year in the playoffs

Just no reason to draft kickers or punters this early. Putting unnecessary pressure on the kicker, yourself, the team and missing out on a potential good player

Misses are misses. Robbie Gould kicked a 45 yarder in the SNOW in Green Bay. Jake Elliott for PHI nailed a 59 yarder in the rain and wind to tie Buffalo and force overtime.

Yes those are very difficult kicks, but point is, you get a kicker to make kicks. I don't even trust Moody with a 32 yarder in a dome to win a game. NO CONFIDENCE. It was a gamble and he's not the person you want to live or die by.

Yeah that's right. Maher was canned because of exactly what Moody is doing. Missing easy ones in bunches and being mentally broken.

Moody is broken. Unless it's a comfortable lead or an inconsequential attempt.

And who is this magical experienced kicker that does not fall apart?

You can't say Robbie Gould, because he has missed XPs and FGs every year he was a 49ers, never put in a perfect season. Robbie also hasn't kicked all year.

The XP miss was his first all season and I think he has only missed 3 fgs. He is also 2-3 on 50+ yards FGS. Not saying there isnt some concern but its total overreaction to say he is broken.
