yeah they cut him because they invested nothing in him and can find another kicker. Like everyone else does in this league unless you have some elite kicker

Moody is more accurate with a bigger leg.

Moody missed a FG and or XP in every playoff game last yr.

My point is the juice ain't worth the squeeze when drafting a kicker in the top 100. Not when you can find good kickers off the streets or as UDFAs

Carlson also missed an Xp in the post season last year. Moody was better last year, and obviously better this year.

While I'm not arguing you can't find a good kicker later, and I think last year's draft was mostly awful, I do think Moody is the worth the price if he keeps kicking like he was earlier this season.

Seems like a quick recovery for a high ankle sprain. But glad he's back.
