If you ignore where he was drafted and just look at his production you would see that he has been pretty solid.

Hes been good. Idc about his early draft position as long as he performs.
2024 regular season stats ; FG%. 92.9. Tied-13th ; XP%. 100.0. Tied-1st ; LNG. 53. Tied-23rd ; PTS. 51. 23rd.
Not great. Not bad. Tackling gives him a leg up… lol. When he hits a game winner the pressure will ease. At least for the fans…

For some reason fans expect kickers to be perfect. They aren't. Last night the Ravens kicker missed an extra point that could have been critical.

Exactly. That's part of the reason why you don't waste a day 2 pick on these guys. Not even Justin Tucker is worth that
It wasn't wasted. Gould was getting older, losing range and we needed a kicker. He was considered the best kicker in the draft. With a strong leg. He was compensatory 3rd. Which is like a 4th. You don't hit on every 4th round pick. Lots are busts. So picking a kicker is fine. He played great this year. Made everything except one 55+. Aubrey missed twice this year. He's doing well. Hopefully nothing is lingering in the ankle and he's full strength.
Any player that starts or makes considerable contributions isn't a wasted pick or signing. I don't care what round he was picked if he can play. We've seen a lot of 1st and 2nd round busts and a lot of 5th round successes.

This doesn't apply to kicker. A day 2 pick on a kicker is a waste the moment the pick is made

Raiders picked a kicker in the 1st round. A punter too.

Sebastian Janikowski and Ray Guy.

Good for them. It's not worth the return. You can hit on the greatest kicker ever in the first round and your team could go winless if they suck bad enough. Kickers aren't worth it

Last year didn't he miss kick in every playoff game ?

Yes but he also kicked 3 or 4 50+ yarders and all were in close games.

He did not miss a kick in the Super Bowl. He did have one blocked because of poor blocking. It had nothing to do with him
if anything goes wrong with any special teams folk just blame the coach or the GM for wherever they are picked and it will fix everything.
