Good for them. It's not worth the return. You can hit on the greatest kicker ever in the first round and your team could go winless if they suck bad enough. Kickers aren't worth it

They had 38 other picks in that same span... those two picks are not why they were "dead in the water".

Also the chances of finding the next Kittle or Brady are very very low.

He still has a lot to prove but the potential was there. He had a good career in college and like you said we not only needed a kicker, but we needed a bigger stronger leg as well.

You miss 100% of the chancea you don't take. I doubt Ozzie Newsome has regrets about taking Justin Tucker and Belichick has drafted a few over the years, one being Gostkowski.

Tucker was undrafted. All of our kickers have been too. Nedney, Akers, Dawson, Gould were all undrafted
