Well....if you cut him at least he leaves on a high note. just sayin.

Who cares how he leaves as long as he leaves and take his Michigan teammate sorry ass Bell with him

Bottom line is this team has been absolutely disgusting in the RZ this season, so it makes a reliable kicker paramount. Moody isn't him.

I think this. Feels somewhat heretical to defend a Michigan player as an Ohio State guy but I doubt if he's actually 100% healed. And even if he is, it's understandable for him to have some rust.

And before anyone says it, I know, he's a professional. But fans have a weird obsession and almost lifelong grudge against any kicker or punter who's drafted unless he's an All Pro. Moody had missed one field goal all year long before his injury. The special teams coverage/coaching that got two friggin place kickers on the injured list in as many weeks is a bigger issue than even Jake Moody missing 3 FG's today, game winner or no.

It was a punk move by Deebo too in all honesty. I like some fire but maybe as an offense do a better job of executing so you don't have to rely on so many field goal attempts to begin with. Not like that hasn't been a problem all year long or like Deebo has been consistently available or productive since his All Pro Season. Last year he was pretty good. This year so far, lowest catch success percentage of his career, lowest catches per game of his career, second lowest catch percentage of his career and not a factor in his former "wide back" role when we rush him out of the backfield. But it was the heat of the moment and they will get past that. Especially since they won.

I will give him one week of rust but... oooooof.
I don't get the SB complaints. His only "miss" in that game was a blocked extra point. That was just as much on the OL.

Or again on the special teams coach. I do think it was pointed out that Moody probably miss hit it a bit because it came off his foot a bit lower than usual giving them a better shot at blocking it.
the CONSISTENT misses deflates the morale. Divides the team . Divides the fans.Destroys any momentum and CANNOT win you a super bowl.

Who defend kickers? They are readily replaceable as we've seen this season. Carson was better than Moody.
Cam Inman: Asked Shanahan if he talked with Moody before winning kick.

"No. I don't want to mess with a kicker. What would I say, better make it? Does it help or hurt?'

LMFAO, this had me rolling

A high ankle sprain is 6 - 8 weeks usually for recovery. So the rushed him back. He's not the same right now IMO. That's part of the problem. The team rushing him back when he's not fully healed.
