Here was what you guys said you wanted.

* Big pressure situation.
* At the end of the game.
* Even if everything else was not going right all day.
* Hit the game winner.

Well he just did that.

🤣 my god
Cut him

This.

That said, I really liked the guy who kicked for us before Jake returned.
Moody looked insanely rusty today, but still zero excuse for missing three kicks. His form was so greatly improved earlier in the season, but today it looked like it completely regressed back to last year's.

My personal insight as a former kicker: On the second kick, I knew as soon as his plant foot hit that he was going to yank it wide. He pointed that plant foot WAY too far left. The torque gets completely thrown off then and you're twisting and striking the ball essentially facing the left post at that point.

His plant foot placement was crap on the game winner too. He essentially had his foot pointed right at the post, and he also turned it out on its side so his plant foot wasn't even sturdy on the ground in his follow through. He was BARELY able to shift his body weight enough to get it to go left, BUT, IF YOU NOTICE.. his plant foot placement perfectly explains why it started to curl wide, and would've missed if it had been a longer kick.

They won't cut him yet, but he better fix this crap asap.

Why did Samual go after Peppers? I didn't notice anything wrong with the snapping.

And he barely made that. If it wasn't for Jennings making the play of the game getting those extra yards, he very likely misses his 4th FG.

We need to bring a kicker back to the PS and put Moody on a short leash. Just because he was drafted doesn't mean he should be afforded a roster spot.

He was going after Moody and Taylor tried to protect his kicker.

I think Deebo was giving Moody the big brother counseling and Pepper try to involved himself.

Peppers went after him first. Deebo said after the game that he didn't say anything to him. Peppers was sticking up for Moody. It's just frustration and I'm sure they'll all apologize and move on.

I have to wonder if Moody is 1005. I know he's missed some kicks in the past but he's been pretty solid this year and most of last. To miss 3like that makes you wonder how healthy he is.
I like kicker drama.

I know that Deebo would not have stepped to the greatest LS of all time who was also, a pyscho killer, Brian Jennings

Basically, just frustration.

The most important part is when he needed a game winner at the end he hit that one. He put all the other bad stuff out of his mind and hit the game winning FG. That says a lot to me. Plus a win is a win. It doesn't matter how. Give it a few weeks and people won't even remember. We are 5 - 4 and won the game. He's rusty after all the time off. Probably couldn't do all his normal workouts. Plus the leg while better may not be 100%.
f**k this guy

i trusted the scrubs off the street more than him

None of their kicks were in high pressure situations and they weren't coming off a high ankle sprain. Carlson looked pretty good but he was available because he was unreliable last season. He missed several extra points.
