The 49ers need Carlson on the practice squad bare minimum. Moody has proven that he's unreliable. Shanahan likes to kick FG's right now and we should have Carlson on the PS.

Needs to be cut. ST is bad enough on coverage units can't afford to have an awful kicker too

The Incident:
-One has to wonder just how long a leash Moody will be given by ShanaLynch.
-Moody is a draft pick and ShanaLynch HATE to cut draft picks because it means they made a mistake.
-Deebo is really the last person to be climbing on Moody's back. He's still a good receiver but his days as a RB appear to be limited.
-Pearsall may replace Deebo as a backfield threat. That might be bothering Deebo somewhat.

When they brought Moody back off the IR, I knew it was a mistake. He's just not a good kicker. When your kicker is causing your coach on the sideline to throw things and he's also causing physical fights with teammates, enough is enough. You have to make a change.

He will probably get one more chance because that just seems to be Shanahan/Lynch way. It's not that far fetched to get rid of a kicker you drafted highly.

Chad Ryland got released by the Pats after just 1 year.

Need to move on from him. He's looked shakey from day one but luckily he has had a lot sneak in so his stats looked decent. His kicks have just always looked sloppy and it's been a ticking time bomb.

I think this. Feels somewhat heretical to defend a Michigan player as an Ohio State guy but I doubt if he's actually 100% healed. And even if he is, it's understandable for him to have some rust.

And before anyone says it, I know, he's a professional. But fans have a weird obsession and almost lifelong grudge against any kicker or punter who's drafted unless he's an All Pro. Moody had missed one field goal all year long before his injury. The special teams coverage/coaching that got two friggin place kickers on the injured list in as many weeks is a bigger issue than even Jake Moody missing 3 FG's today, game winner or no.

It was a punk move by Deebo too in all honesty. I like some fire but maybe as an offense do a better job of executing so you don't have to rely on so many field goal attempts to begin with. Not like that hasn't been a problem all year long or like Deebo has been consistently available or productive since his All Pro Season. Last year he was pretty good. This year so far, lowest catch success percentage of his career, lowest catches per game of his career, second lowest catch percentage of his career and not a factor in his former "wide back" role when we rush him out of the backfield. But it was the heat of the moment and they will get past that. Especially since they won.

No a punk move is calling out a key player who calls out a kicker who has missed multiple fgs in multiple games not just this one,deebo needed to hold moody accountable period!
