So what? Let some other dumb team draft him early

fair enough. they i'm sure were hoping he'd be some 10 year long leg force. but it's not looking good.

i do value special teams tho. Wish was a great pick and i think round 4. if you get a return man like Hester, or just a good return man, or a top kicker or punter, it's worthy of a draft pick investment. special teams is a third of the game.

all undrafted kickers end up being good journeymen... 49ers benefited on the end of careers of some of those journeymen kickers. What we don't benefit from is taking undrafted kickers early in their careers and it's probably why we went high drafting Moody.

Kyle's right, tabor is a soft librarian. Deebo a caption telling him to lock in, Moody can fight his own battles.
In a year or 2 Moody will be the best kicker in the NFL. Most young kickers go through this.

all played well here for us. I'd rather go that route of picking up seasoned veterans that are reliable than young insecure dopes…

You need a kicker once a year or so for a game winner.

If you need your kicker for 9 points during the game than your offense just sucks.

I don't know how else to say it.

I hope he's not here by then. He's a loser

of course but there wasn't those guys available in FA
Bring back Carlson, moody almost missed the game winning kick. Moody has the leg strength, but chokes way too much. Points will be a premium come playoff time, and we'll need a reliable kicker.

We were winning games with FGs during the harbagugh alex smith days. We might be settling for FGs now, but our offense will find a way. Teams keep selling out to stop the run on 1st down when we get to the redzone, i trust our staff to notice this and make the adjustments.

No. Just No, If this was the case then most wins would be blow outs. 3 points compared to 0 points a couple of drives a game is a huge difference maker.

We are 28 out of 32 in red zone efficiency. Yes, just yes, we have a serious problem.
